Sponsored visit with Associate Dean Mo Zell, School of Architecture and Urban Planning, University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Total Funding: $2,800. 2014-15 Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities Grant. Design lead for a project of the Tulane City Center, providing design services for the renovation of historic Turners Hall. The project documents existing conditions and proposes a schematic design concept for the Helis John Scott collection. Preliminary visioning document completed in May 2015. Total Funding: $10,000. 2014 Harrah s New Orleans Grant. Design lead for a project of the Tulane City Center, providing design services for the Hung Dao Community Development Corporation. Master planning and architectural design for a Vietnamese Community Center and Gardens, in collaboration with the Louisiana Land Trust, the LSU Landscape Lab, Tulane School of Architecture students, and Tulane City Center staff. Sponsored by the New Orleans City Council and Harrah s New Orleans. Total funding: $8,000. 2013 Surdna Foundation Grant. Design lead for a project of the Tulane City Center, providing design services for Recirculating Farms Coalitions. Master planning and architectural design for an aquaponic farming campus in collaboration with the New Orleans Food and Farm Network, the LSU Landscape Lab, Tulane School of Architecture students, and Tulane City Center staff. Looking Forward and Backward: An Empirical Analysis of Immutable Form. Research travel to canonical works of architecture in preparation for new seminar course and forthcoming publication.
