We can now provide the complete sales solution allowing you to choose either Private Treaty or Online Auction or an amalgamation of both. Why sell online? Auctions are an efficient and transparent way to sell property. By selling online, you combine all the benefits of the traditional auction room with the speed and transparency of going online via REA auctionroom.ie. The Contract for Sale is made available online so that purchasers and their solicitor can inspect same and any legal queries can be dealt with prior to the online auction. Therefore the efficiency of the sales process moves faster, with all legal queries dealt with prior to the online auction giving buyers greater confidence in the bidding process and more importantly, greatly assisting in bringing the sale to a successful conclusion.

Fully functional website available 365 24/7 across all platforms to include desktop, phone and tablet. Options to include both Auction and or Private Treaty/Auction Sales. Integrates with the agreed advertising and promotion strategy. The auction period can be as long or as short as is desired, ensuring full market exposure to an agreed timeline. With a competitive AMV set at the beginning of the marketing campaign, the property is well positioned to achieve the best price possible. Viewings are attended by appointment or by way of a set number of open viewings with licenced and qualified professionals with local market knowledge. Surveys and any legal queries are concluded prior to the online auction. The Process A bidder verification process is carried out to include proof of identity, which may also include a request for proof of funds before an account is activated and authorised in order to bid on the day of the online auction. The Sales contract and other legal documents are uploaded by the vendor s solicitor to reaauctionroom.ie so as interested parties and their solicitors can inspect same. The REA agent uploads all the relevant property details to reaauctionroom.ie to include the AMV, reserve, bid increments, deposit srequirements and bidding duration. Bidders lodge 10% deposit equal to the quoted AMV to the REA agent s client account prior to the commencement of the online auction. Balance of 10 % deposit of the purchase price to be lodged to the REA agent s client account by the successful bidder on conclusion of the online auction. Bidders have pre-authorised the REA agent to sign the sales contract on their behalf. Deposits of unsuccessful bidders are returned by the REA agent after the conclusion of the online auction. Signed sales contract and purchaser s details are sent to the vendor s solicitors. Vendor s solicitor issues closing documents to the purchaser s solicitor and the sale closes within 28 days.
