We truly believe you will enjoy your experience. By residing with other students you will have built-in study partners, lifelong friends and stories that you will be telling for decades to come. Resident Assistants (or RAs) live in the building to plan fun events, assist with roommate conflicts and assist you with anything you may need. ROOMMATE PAIRING Living with a roommate will make your time at Mercy even more enjoyable. However, it is very important to discuss expectations with your roommate. Especially if neither of you have shared a space with a friend before. Having your own apartment can be very different from
living at home with family. It will most likely be one of the most memorable moments of your life. Filling out the Residence Life Survey (found on our website www.mercycollege.edu/futurestudents/residence-life) can assist you in having a conversation with a potential roommate and helps us pair you with someone who will compliment your experience at Mercy. FOOD! You will not miss home cooking as much as you think. Offering hot breakfast and amazingly delicious lunches, the Mercy College Cafeteria serves food Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 9:00 am, and 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. A great breakfast special is served each day and you can always get hotcakes, omelets, quiche, croissant sandwiches, bagels, muffins, danish & sweet rolls. Cold and hot cereal is also offered each day. Hot Lunch Specials are offered every day as well. A variety of hamburgers, hotdogs, and sandwiches are offered each day with a special sandwich featured each day. Be sure to try the soup and salad bar or a special Grab & Go Salad if you re in a hurry. Students will soon be offered the ability to pre-load dollars on their student ID card to be used like a debit card to make purchases. LOCAL RESTAURANTS & LATE NIGHT DINING While the cafeteria is open for breakfast and lunch, you will become very familiar with local eateries and grow accustomed to making your own meals for dinner and on the weekends. Each apartment is equipped with a kitchen so you can maintain healthy eating habits. Downtown Toledo is known for its quality restaurants, most of which are independent, quality spots.
