North Staffordshire With 71.4 acres of perfectly landscaped gardens set amidst the awe-inspiring scenery of the Churnet valley, Consall Hall Gardens is the hidden gem of the Staffordshire Moorlands and one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Staffordshire. The area forms part of the Staffordshire Moorlands and provides stunning distant views over the surrounding countryside. The area is a designated conservation area and is close to the south of the Peak District National Park. Consall Hall Estate is well placed for all of one s shopping needs with Cheadle just 6 miles to the south, whilst there is more comprehensive shopping in Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme just 11 miles away. Transport links to the north, south and internationally are superb with Junction 15 of the M6 just 4 miles away. Manchester International airport is just 35 miles away and there are mainline trains from Stoke-on-Trent (11 miles) with trains to London Euston taking approximately 90 minutes. Schools and local amenities There is good schooling within the local area including both grammar and private schools. Nearby private schools include The Kings School Macclesfield, Newcastle-under-Lyme School, Denstone College and Abbotsholme. There is hunting within the Staffordshire Moorlands and North Staffordshire. There is racing at nearby Uttoxeter and Wolverhampton.

Consall Hall Estate Consall Hall Estate was built in the 1880 s and has been in the same family since the 1920 s. The house is built of red brick under a slate roof and is entered via a long, impressive and sweeping tree lined drive. The house is set within the most phenomenal gardens which are without doubt the most prestigious in the shire. A large wooden door opens into the marble floored entrance hall and gives access to the main reception rooms. Of particular note is the library with ornate cornicing and oak bookshelves to all sides. To the right of the entrance hall is the cloakroom which leads into the drawing room which is double aspect with far reaching views over the lake and gardens beyond. Double doors lead through to a dining room again with full height windows to one side and far reaching views. Ahead of the entrance hall is a kitchen, butler s pantry and a door that leads out to the garage. To the left of the entrance hall is a library and study and a further door that leads out to the garage. A whitten oak sweeping staircase leads to first floor accommodation with a traditional painted glass window to the half landing. The master bedroom suite with dressing room is light and well proportioned. There are a further 5 bedrooms on the first floor with a separate bathroom and shower room. One of the bedrooms gives access to the first floor apartment consisting of a sitting room, kitchen, conservatory, bedroom and shower room. The second floor has substantial loft storage.

The Lodge Wedding Venue The Lodge The Lodge The Lodge is a single storey, detached brick house at the head of the western driveway. It has a pitched and tiled roof. Good proportions including a kitchen, sitting/dining room, three bedrooms, bathroom and a garage. There is a patio access off the dining room which leads onto a small fenced garden. The Lodge has been an excellent and long term rental providing good income. Wedding Venue Consall Hall is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Staffordshire with unique and breath-taking views and gardens. Within the grounds is a substantial wedding function set up including seating for 200 in the main function room, a reception room, catering kitchen, male and female cloakrooms and good storage. The function rooms and buildings are sublet and the lease expires on June 30th 2019. A three bedroom cottage called Coachman s Halt is attached to the wedding barn and could work in conjunction with it, or alternatively as additional accommodation. The cottage could now do with some modernisation. Outbuildings Consall Hall Estate has substantial additional outbuildings alongside the wedding business. These consist of a selection of garages, potting sheds, tool stores and additional store rooms.

Gardens and Grounds The current owner has spent 60 years transforming the grounds to the beautiful gardens that they are today. The gardens at Consall Hall occupy an exceptional setting due to the extraordinary arrangement of four valleys ranging from 700 ft above sea level at the house, down to 450 ft at the floor of the lowest valley. The arrangement of the valleys form an interesting and attractive natural site for the house. The Sprink Valley on the west of the house, running from the Lodge to the Hall, contains the Azalea, Water gardens and the Arch Bridge. The Laund Valley sits to the east of the house with the cottage summer house with views over the land. The Dingle Valley, which is the main valley of the house, holds the Laund and Dingle Pool. The Park Valley runs from the Lodge Pool to the Quarry Pool and descends to the Dell. The stunning landscaped gardens are vast with a selection of pathways, numerous majestic lakes, bridges, follies and a summerhouse creating a series of enchanting vistas.
