THE ELECTRICAL WIREMEN AND 10, CONTRACTORS' ACT (1939) Mr von Ahlften reported that the relevant sub-committee dealt with the first draft proposed amendments after having received comments from various members. The AMEU proposals will serve as an addendum to these minutes. The suggestion by Mr A.H*L* Fortmann, Town Electrical Engineer, Boksburg, that the whole of Sections 21,22,23 and 24 of the Act be deleted, was fully dis cussed. It was however resolved that the status quo should remain. CIVIL LIABILITY FOR ELECTROCUTION 11. This Association has invited the AMEU to send representatives to a joint meeting to discuss the standardisation of municipal regulations regarding aerial installations. It \ras resolved that Messrs. P.J. Botes and J.K. von Ahlften represent the AMEU at the proposed meeting. RAU - ELECTRICAL. ENGINEERS COURSE 25. DIE TELEVISIE ANTENNA VERVAARDIGERS Hierdie Vereniging het die VMEO uitgenooi om verteenwoordigers te stuur na -n gesamentlike vergadering om die standaardisasie van munisipale regulasies rakende die antenna installasies te bespreek.
