Offers Traditional Home-Study Real Estate Continuing Education Courses that are Approved by the California Bureau of Real Estate. Premier's complete 45-Hour Package is made up of three Course Units: 1. CE Digest (15 Hrs. Consumer Protection): This course covers contracts with special emphasis given to the agency relationships created in the listing agreement. It provides thorough coverage of the disclosures required in a real estate transaction. The Digest also delves into Environmental Laws & Hazards as they relate to the practice of real estate. 2. Real Estate Issues (15 Hrs Consumer Protection): This course discusses various energy issues impacting the real estate field, certain elements of mortgage lending and mortgage loan brokerage, security devices and alternative financing, and provides practical coverage of title and alienation issues. 3. Core Courses (15 Hrs): This course unit consists of (5) course categories which are Ethics (3 Hrs), Agency (3 Hrs), Trust Funds (3 Hrs), Fair Housing (3 Hrs), and Risk Management (3 Hrs). These topics provide a review of key areas of real estate practice. COURSE COMPLETION: The first step requires that a student read and study the printed textbook for each course ordered. Each chapter of reading material in a text contains a Course Highlights section to provide the student with a solid review of the key points covered in the reading material. There is also a multiple choice practice exam that must be completed and submitted to Premier Schools for correction before a final exam for your course may be taken!. FINAL EXAMINATION: All of the courses in this 45-hour package are designed as traditional home-study courses. Final exams for all of our courses may be taken: 1) Online 2) Through an outside monitor or 3) At Premier School's main office. The final examination is an open-book exam consisting of Multiple-Choice questions based on the course material. A 3-hour course final exam consists of 15 multiple-choice questions. A fifteen (15) hour course has 40 questions. CalBRE rules state that in a multiple-choice exam, a student will be allowed one minute for each question in the final exam. Accordingly, a student will have 15 minutes to complete a final exam for a three-hour course and forty (40) minutes for a fifteen (15) hour course.

You may use a non-printing calculator while taking the examination. You may also use your course textbook. You must achieve a score of 70% or better on the final examination to successfully complete your course and receive a Certificate of Completion. Students who are taking a final exam must present one of the following forms of identification immediately before the administration of the final examination: 1. A current California driver's license 2. A current identification card described in Section 13000 of the California Vehicle Code 3. Any identification of the participant issued by a governmental agency or a recognized real estate related trade organization within the immediately preceding five years which bears a photograph, signature and identification number of the participant. The final(s) can be taken after the homework for that course(s) has been received by the school and 3 days of prior study time. There are three 15 hour blocks of study. You can take 15 hours of a final(s) every full 24 hours. So please allow 6 days or longer for completion of your 45 hour continuing education package. Certificate of Completion: Upon successful completion of your final exam(s) you will receive your Certificate of Completion. If you have done your finals online you can print your certificate after finishing the last final. If you take your exam(s) with the school we can provide you will a certificate at once. We will furnish a ORINGINAL Course Completion Certificate (CCC) WITHIN 15 DAYS OF TAKING A COURSE for those who take their exams online. Your original as well as a copy is proof that you have completed the course and should be retained in your files. You will need to give the California Bureau of Real Estate the eight digits approval number(s) on your certificate as well as the start and completion dates. You do not need to furnish a copy of your certificate(s) to CalBRE unless asked to do so. Our School does maintain a record of your completed courses in our student database so that we can issue a duplicate upon request. REFUNDS: If you are not satisfied with any course purchased from Premier Schools Inc., you may return the course to the school within one month of the date of your purchase. If all the course materials are returned to us in unused condition, you will receive a full refund less a $15.00 registration fee. No refunds will be made for any reason after one month of your date of purchase. CalBRE Course Evaluation form: The purpose of this form is to assist the Bureau of Real Estate in better serving the education needs of the real estate licensees. You may download this form from the Bureau of Real Estate website at (www.calbre.ca.gov). This form (RE318A) can be found by accessing the Forms button in on the home page of the CalBRE website. Time Limits: If you have renewed your R.E.License before there have been changes please take note. Students will have the course material for a 15-hour package a minimum of 3 days before an exam for that course can be taken. For the Full 45 hour package 3 days for student followed by three days for exams. There is a six day minimum for the 45 hours. Now CalBRE rules require that you may only complete a final examination for 15 hours of course credit in any one 24 hour period. YOU CAN ONLY TAKE 15 HOURS OF EXAM(S) IN ONE 24 HOUR PERIOD. Please allow proper time to renew. The maximum time that you have to complete any continuing education course is one year under CalBRE Rules.

If you do not complete the course within this period, your tuition and registration will expire and you must re-enroll. Under CalBRE rules, if you do not pass a final exam the first time, you may retake a new final exam on your course at no charge. A person who fails the retake examination, however, has not passed the course and no completion certificate will be given. A student, who fails the retake examination, may reenroll in the same course and upon fully completing the course and passing the examination receive course credit. CE DIGEST: Category (Consumer Protection) Title: Continuing Education Digest This course provides coverage of contracts in general with special emphasis given to the agency relationship created in the listing agreement. It explores the duties and responsibilities of real estate licensees in the daily operation of their real estate activities. The course delves into the major disclosures required in the completion of a real estate transaction. Course workbook contains 161 pages. REAL ESTATE ISSUES: Category (Consumer Protection) Title: R.E.Issues This course takes a look at ways of increasing energy efficiency in real estate housing. It also explores mortgage loan activates and lending. It provides the licensee with a working knowledge of the agencies that regulate the real estate lending process. The role of consumer protections, disclosures, and equal opportunities in lending are discussed. The course also covers the features of various types of security devices and methods of the acquisition. Course workbook contains 150 pages ETHICS: Category (Ethics) Title: Ethics, Professional conduct, and the real estate law This course is intended to provide real estate licensees with a broader, more flexible, and in-depth coverage of the many aspects of ethics in the real estate industry. The course provides coverage of conduct that is considered to be ethical in the practice of real estate. It also seeks to illustrate conduct that might be unethical and trigger a violation of one or more sections of the Real Estate Law. Co workbook contains 38 pages

AGENCY: Category (Agency) Title: Agency Relationships Covers the agency relationships created in a modern real estate brokerage practice. The course reviews the duties, required disclosures, and confidences legally required by both the listing and selling agents. The course also details the practical considerations created by in-house sales, cooperative sales, dual agency, and a buyer s brokerage. Course workbook contains 40 pages FAIR HOUSING: Category (Fair Housing) Title: Fair Housing This course is designed to provide real estate licensees with knowledge of Federal and State fair housing laws related to the sale and rental of real estate. It also covers both Federal and State civil rights and anti-discrimination laws as they relate to real property transactions and business establishments. The course illustrates practice that could be considered discriminatory in commercial and residential transactions. Course workbook contains 34 pages TRUST FUNDS: Category (Trust Funds) Title: Trust Funds Handling Provides the licensee with knowledge of the legal requirements for receiving and handling trust funds in real estate transactions. This course details the legal requirements for maintaining a trust fund account and the accounting records, audits and examinations, and consequences of trust fund conversion. Course workbook contains 30 pages RISK MANAGEMENT: Category (Risk Management) Title: Risk Management Assessing risks and reducing the potential legal liabilities that go hand-in-hand with operating a modern real estate brokerage is a key concern for both Brokers and their sales associates. This course focuses on the control, reduction, avoidance, and shifting of risk to avoid the legal consequences of a lawsuit in the residential real estate market. It pinpoints specific areas of risk and how Brokers and Salespeople can effectively protect themselves in their day-to-day operations. Course workbook contains 52 pages MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISION: Category (Management and Supervision) Title: Management and Supervision How to establish polices, rules, and procedures including systems to review, inspect, and manage offices. Supervision of all transactions involving a real estate license. The responsibilities of a Broker to ensure salespersons working as teams are in compliance with recent Code amendments. Regular and consistent reports of licensed activities of Salespersons. Proper handling of Trust Funds. The proper filing, storage and maintenance of documents. Supervision over restricted licensees. Offers Correspondence Study Sales & Broker Pre-License Qualification Courses That Are Approved by the California Bureau of Real Estate COURSE PROCEDURES: Our sales and broker qualification courses consist of a course textbook, a course workbook, and a final examination. The textbook is to be read and studied at home. The textbook provides Chapter Quizzes to reinforce a better under-standing of the course material. Your course material also includes a course workbook containing additional Review Quizzes that are based on the information in the course textbook. These quizzes are designed as a study tool to help you prepare for the final examination. A final examination may not be taken unless all fifteen Review Quizzes have been completed, submitted, and received by Premier Schools. FINAL EXAMINATION: Final exam is an open-book-exam consisting of 100 multiple choice questions. The student is allowed 150 minutes to complete the final exam. Student must achieve a score of 70% or better to receive a Certificate of Completion for the course. Final exams for our sales and broker qualification courses may be taken: 1) At Premier Schools Office 2) Online or 3) Through an outside monitor. A student, who does not pass the final exam on the first attempt, must retake the course and pass a retake examination with a score of 60% or better. There is no charge to retake the final exam. CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION: Upon successful completion of your final exam, you will receive your Certificate of Completion from our main office within one week of the time that your test, answer sheet, and test administrator certification are received at our administrative office in West Los Angeles, California. Your Certificate of Completion is your proof that you have completed the course and should be retained by you in your files. Our school does maintain a record of your completed courses in our student database so that we can issue a duplicate certificate upon request. REFUNDS: If you are not satisfied with any course purchased from Premier Schools, Inc., you may return it to the school within one month of your date of purchase. You may, however, reinstate your registration by paying a $35.00 registration fee to cover the cost of updated materials and administrative costs. Textbooks costs are not included in $35.00 reinstatement fees.
