Design of Multi Storied High Rise Group Housing / Apartments project. 2. Design a Layout of Commercial mix use developments like District Centre taking into consideration of services, site planning, traffic and circulation. Design of transportation building, Bus / Truck Terminus in the same District Centre. Sensitivity to the use of materials, lighting, landscape and structural systems, should be the part of the solution. Seminar: Seminar intended to provide an opportunity to the students to prepare the basic design data and information for taking up a thesis project in the 10 th semester. The topic may be related to the field of dissertation or any design research oriented topics such as, futuristic forms of Architecture, smart/intelligent buildings, energy conservation environmental design projects etc. Note: Two questions are to be set from the entire syllabus and the student has to attempt any one of these. The topic of the problem to be introduced 7 days in advance, by displaying it on the department s notice board, for the students to do the literature and case study.
