CONDITIONS OF SALE The sale is conducted in accordance with the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers conditions of sale for machinery in England and Wales (effective May, 2010), a copy of which is available to read at our website: www.hrt.uk.com auction tab prior to the date of the sale, or a copy of which will be displayed at the auctioneer s office on the day of the sale. SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF SALE 1. All prospective purchasers are to make themselves known to the auctioneers prior to the sale time, giving their full name, trading title, address and contact telephone numbers. 2. All prospective purchasers not known to the auctioneers must provide a BANK REFERENCE prior to purchasing. No cash transactions over 10,000 Sterling will be accepted. Payment may be made via a BANKER S DRAFT, CHEQUE WITH GUARANTEE CARD/BANK REFERENCE, or by Debit Card. 3. It is the purchaser s responsibility to ensure that all plant/machinery or equipment complies with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 before such items are used at a place of work. 4. No person will be allowed to remove any of the lots without a pass for the removal of lots. 5. The auctioneers wish to draw to the attention of the purchasers that VAT at the current standard rate will be charged unless otherwise stated. 6. The auctioneers will, at the purchaser s request, transfer lots to another purchaser, but the original purchaser shall not cease to be responsible for the purchase money and, in the event of default, may be sued for the same. 7. ACCIDENTS - Every person attending the sale should be deemed to be there at their own risk and neither the vendor nor the auctioneers will be responsible for any damage to life or limb, or property, prior to or during the progress of the sale, or at any time during the removal of lots. GENERAL INFORMATION DIRECTIONS TO THE SALE From Junction 35 of the M4 motorway follow signs for Pencoed A473, at the roundabout take the 3 rd exit onto Felindre Road stay on this road for approximately 4 miles. At the junction turn left onto the A48 and then immediately turn right onto the B4268 following signs for Llantwit Major, follow on this road for approximately 1.2 miles you will then enter the Village of Llysworney, The Farm is located immediately on your left as you enter the Village. The postcode of the property is CF71 7NQ. A location plan is printed in the catalogue and To The Sale signs will be erected in the vicinity on the sale day. VAT Mr A A Ree is not registered for VAT purposes. Therefore, items belonging to Mr Ree will not be subject to VAT. BUYER S PREMIUM Will not be charged on any of the lots. SECURITY AND LOADING OF LOTS The auctioneers will not be responsible for the security of items left after 17.00hrs on the sale day. In order to assist buyers, a loading vehicle will be available to help with loading until 18.00hrs on the sale day. Please note that the auctioneers reserve the right to withhold purchases until cheques are cleared. VIEWING Previous afternoon or morning of sale. CATALOGUE ENTRIES Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that the descriptions are accurate, no guarantee is given or implied. PRE-REGISTRATION A buyers number system will operate. All prospective purchasers are requested to attend at the bidders registration desk prior to the commencement of the sale, so that full details of the intending purchaser s name, address, bankers and other relevant information may be recorded. Failure to obtain a buyer s bid card may result in the auctioneers refusing to accept your bid. ENGINE HOURS Neither the vendors nor the auctioneers make any warranty regarding engine hours or vehicle mileages. Vehicle hours were recorded on 4 th August, 2017 in relation to Mr Ree but continue to be used up to sale day. PAYMENT BY CHEQUE Purchasers wishing to pay by cheque who are not know to the auctioneers are asked to make one of the following arrangements in good time before the date of sale if their purchase is anticipated to exceed the amount shown on their cheque guarantee card:- (1) Inform your Bank Manager that you will be paying by cheque at the sale. Confirm to him the maximum amount (including VAT) that you intend spending and instruct him to inform the auctioneers in writing that it will be in order to accept your cheque to this amount. Confirmation may be made to us by email (andrewthomas@hrt.uk.com) or arrange to bring a guaranteed cheque with you from your bank and, once cleared, any unallocated funds will be returned to you.
