Making History All Over Again. 333 on the Park was formerly known as the Gordon & Ferguson building. It was conceived as the company headquarters building and was designed by Clarence H. Johnston Sr., a prominent St. Paul architect. Construction was completed in 1913. The building s namesakes, Richard Gordon and Paul Ferguson, were entrepreneurs who were originally in the hat business. Their focus switched, and in short order they became the largest manufacturer of fur goods in the United States. By 1944, they were known as outdoor clothiers for men, women and children under the brands Field & Stream and Town & Country. Like the Gordon & Ferguson building, many of the district s buildings were designed by the city s most talented and successful architects, making the neighborhood a showcase of commercial architecture in the Midwest.
Floor Plans As Unique As Their Occupants. There are no cookie-cutter floor plans at 333 on the Park. Each was designed to maximize space, enhance views and create a feeling of openness. There s sure to be one that fits your needs.
