Open Studios is a unique, free event where 3 artists open their doors to the public for the weekend. We invite you to come to our studio spaces, meet our artists personally and see their work, examine the materials and tools they use, and watch demonstrations of how they transform raw materials into finished art pieces. This is a great opportunity to ask questions about what inspires artists, to find out how your favorite artworks were made, and purchase unique local art. Each year our Tour is different and surprising. You will see new artists and new art forms as well as the evolution of an artist s work that you admired last year. It s a great opportunity to see what is happening with the visual arts in Bloomington today.
