SELECT THE FALL 2012 TERM Once accepted by NC State, students may apply for oncampus housing. Assignments are made based on the date the application is received. There is no requirement to live on campus. Assignments are available via MyPack Portal beginning May 15. Note: The Housing Agreement covers the entire 2012-2013 academic year. 2

WOLF VILLAGE OR RESIDENCE HALLS Students who are eligible to live in either Wolf Village or the residence halls will see both options displayed. The left two links will take you to the Housing website for additional information. You may also indicate that you only want to live in Wolf Village or you are willing to take any space in the residence halls. 6
LIFESTYLE PREFERENCES Responses to the first three preferences are required. The responses are used by the computer system and the Assignments staff to match roommates. 7
LIVING & LEARNING VILLAGES To complete an application for one of the Villages or to accept an invitation, you must first complete the Housing Application. Then go back into the Housing portal and select the Living and Learning Village link and complete the appropriate application. The word more is a hyperlink that will take you to the Village page for additional information. 8
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION List any additional information regarding building/roommate selection that may assist us in making your assignment. 9
ADA ACCOMMODATION To assist us in meeting your goals, please complete this information. Before we can make your Housing Assignment, you must register first with the Disability Services Office (DSO). Once you have registered with the DSO, a Housing Assignment staff member will contact you to discuss the requested accommodations. 10
BULIDING CHOICES You may select up to three building choices. Each building is a hyperlink, if you want to learn more about what a building has to offer. If you are approved for a Village, the building associated with the Village will be selected as your first choice. 11
SELECTING A ROOMMATE If you have particular roommate in mind, you will need to know their full name to enter it on your application. Only current and accepted students will appear in the search box. If the requested roommate is not in the list, contact him/her to see if they have been accepted. Once they are accepted, go back into the application and add their name. Roommate requests must be mutual for the assignment system to make the match. 12
ACADEMIC YEAR 2012-2013 The Residence Hall or Wolf Village Agreements are inclusive of the 2012-2013 academic year. There are three sections new to the agreement. They address eligibility for housing, consolidation, and academic suspension. 13
ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE At the end of the Agreement, you will see the box above asking you to affirm the statement. Read it carefully and click I Agree if you want to proceed. If you select I do not accept, the application is canceled. You will be presented the box above for a second time to reaffirm the University Housing Agreement. By selecting I Agree the second time, this becomes your electronic signature accepting the terms and conditions associated with the Agreement. 14
