Dear Alumni, Parents, and Friends of Dartmouth College: In the nearly three decades since the fall of the Wall, no other European city has undergone a greater transformation than Berlin. Bold designs by some of the world s most renowned architects including Frank Gehry, Daniel Libeskind, and Norman Foster have sparked the city s renaissance, while thought-provoking monuments have redefined her urban space. Immerse yourself in Berlin s boundless energy during a four-night stay in this vibrant capital. Traveling with us are two experts from Dartmouth College. Jane Carroll, a senior lecturer in art history, specializes in the art of Northern Europe, and Richard Kremer, a historian of science, is known at Dartmouth for his efforts to bridge the gap between the sciences and humanities. Explore the German Historical Museum, which tells the story of Germany s history from the Middle Ages to the current day.
