Antonio Citterio, architect and designer, was born in 1950 and now lives and works in Milan. Citterio started working with Vitra in 1988. Since then, he has designed a number of office and visitor chairs, armchairs, and the office furniture programmes Ad Hoc, Spatio, and Ad One. The Citterio Collection is continually expanding. Vitra has been exploring sitting and working for more than 40 years. Long years of experience are incorporated into the development of all products. T-Chair is a young office chair that brings a breath of fresh air to a variety of different settings. It combines ergonomic qualities and perfect technology to form one clear shape.

T-Chair can be adjusted perfectly to suit the your individual needs. Universal armrests Optionally, seat-depth and backrest height can be adjusted.

The height, breadth and angle of the armrests can be individually adjusted for precise support of the lower arm. This is especially important when working at a PC. Armrests The molded foam upholstery offers you prime comfort and adapts carefully to your body s contours for exact support. The patented synchronised mechanism moves with your body and supports it in any position. You can sit freely without leaning against the backrest the front edge of the seat sinks slightly to ensure you are still supported and the your spine automatically straightens.

Colours/Versions. As with any T-shirt, the fabric coverings can be removed. Moreover, with T-chair you can choose from a vast range of colours and between different versions. T-Chair comes in many different variants: with or without armsupports or universal armrests and with four different bases.

T-Chair Programme features All measurements in millimetres and inches, established pursuant to EN-1335,1 Office swivel chair complying with EN 1335 and ANSI/ BIFMA. Synchronised mechanism with personal adjustment of backrest tension combined with spontaneous forwards tilt of the seat surface. Both functions can be set independently of each other. With or without adjustable armrests: all-purpose armrests with soft basic dark polyurethane padding (height and sideways angle can be adjusted) or Universal armrests (adjustable in height, depth, angle and sideways breadth) with polyurethane padding in basic dark. Optionally available with fully height-adjustable backrest and adjustable seat depth. Flexible backrest made of polypropylene with CFC-free polyurethane foam and fabric covers. Base frame in 4-versions: basic dark plastic, flat or ascending, or die-cast chromed or polished aluminium. Optional basic dark double castors for hard or soft floors. T-Chair bears the ergonomic seal of approval from the LGA Nuremberg. T-Chair is also available with a Clima Seat.
