This building is individually eligible for the National Register of Historic Places under Criterion C as an excellent example of an Italianate style cottage. The application of vinyl siding, in this case, has not diminished the architectural integrity of this property. The large barn to the rear of the property is also a valuable example of agricultural architecture and one of a very few 19th century barns extant in Kingston.
