OUR SERVICES 1. Technical and Consulting Services a. Master Planning The need for sustainable urban planning in Tanzania has never been greater than it is today. PIL s master planning services focus on developing healthy, safe places in which people can thrive, communities can evolve, and the environment is can be protected. Surveys Services for Land and Engineering PIL has established itself as one of the leading surveying services provider in Tanzania. Some of the services offered include: Cadastral Surveying: Combining proven surveying practices, advance technologies and a proprietary database, PIL provides customers with mapping for all of their inland and coastal needs. Our professional surveyors are registered in Tanzania. We identify, establish and redefine property boundaries to determine the limits and extents of parcels to support the transfer of properties. This includes subdivisions, amalgamations and land acquisitions. Topographic Surveying: We provide topographical surveys for a wide variety of clients such as the Local Government Authorities, individuals, and societies anywhere in Tanzania. We provide survey services over a specified area to determine the nature and form of the natural land and to map the natural and man-made features. Our professionals produce contours and crosssections of the natural ground to aid in design and construction works.
Engineering and Construction Surveying: Our professionals perform survey works in preparation of, during and after construction or engineering works. Including feasibility surveys, construction setting out, verticality checks, settlement checks, as-built surveys, calculations on pipe alignment, bore placement, angle calculations and plan production. Geotechnical Surveying: PIL professionals have extensive experience in carrying out geotechnical survey services for the soil over which prospective building, plant or bridge is to be constructed. Laboratory tests ranging from basic soil index tests to advanced dynamic tests are performed according to appropriate ASTM standards and practices where applicable. 2.
