Introduction PRESTON ROWE PATERSON NEWCASTLE AND CENTRAL COAST Previously known as Duponts Valuation and Property Research Over 20 years experience in property valuation and market research 10 qualified valuers and 5 administration support staff Two central offices located in Newcastle and Gosford History and Background In July 2009, Duponts Valuation and Property Research formed a strategic alliance by way of franchise agreement with Australia to form a new business entity known as Newcastle and Central Coast Pty Ltd. Still operating under the same business structure as the previous entity, Preston Rowe Paterson Newcastle and Central Coast is Newcastle s and the Central Coast s largest independently owned valuation firm. Our service coverage expands a wide geographical area incorporating the Hunter Valley, the Central Coast and the Mid North Coast. Led by CEO and Director, Robert Dupont, and Directors, David Rich and Joshua Smith, Newcastle and Central Coast specialises in all facets of real estate valuation and property consultancy including valuations for mortgage security, pre-purchase and proposed sale, asset portfolio and accounting, stamp duty, taxation, GST, rental determinations, family law and litigation testimony, insurance reviews, consultancy, market analysis and research, and statutory valuations. The firm s origins can be traced back to 1987, when Port Stephens Valuations was established and Robert Dupont joined the business, to be later renamed Dupont Fagan Valuers. In 2000, the Newcastle office was opened on Darby Street, and in 2003, the business name changed to Duponts Valuation and Property Research. The firm welcomed David Rich as a partner in 2005. With increasing staff levels to accommodate the increased demand for our services, the firm moved to larger premises on Hannell Street in 2006. A strategic business decision was made to join the group of National Property Consultants in order to benefit from national exposure and online facilities, and to share a wealth of property information and expertise with peers. We recognised that we shared the same dedications to best practice standards and quality assurance measures, striving to deliver competitive pricing and fast turnaround times on our engagements. As a result of the alliance, Newcastle and Central Coast acquired an additional office and valuers at Gosford. Our firm also expanded its directorship at this time, and Joshua Smith became the third partner. Newcastle and Central Coast Pty Ltd Corporate Profile Page 4

Innovation and Technology E-VALUERS E-Valuers is a web based valuation management and client connectivity system developed by. How it works E-Valuers can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week from anywhere through the internet. The system is data warehoused at Global Switch in Sydney, which includes backup and redundancy support. Using the power of the internet, each of our Australian offices, valuation, asset management and consultancy operatives, help desk and support staff, as well as our clients, use the system to instruct tasks, upload documentation, monitor the progress of assignments, and interact with operatives and our help desk through a linked emailing system. What the system does A staff member or client can be set up with a User Profile and password to access the E-Valuers system. A bundle of state-of-the-art instructions, task management, file storage, communication and administration benefits and features then become available to the user. Firstly, E-Valuers is a task management system. Once we receive an assignment, it is entered into E-Valuers, either directly by a client user or a operative. The system allocates a reference number to each task, which becomes searchable, along with other details such as client name, address, and so forth. Once a task has been established, the system includes a linked emailing function that allows operatives or help desk to interact with clients via email to advise of any delays that may be incurred in completing an assignment, seek additional information, and the like. E-Valuers is a paperless office. Each file, once established, is capable of having documents uploaded to it by way of a comprehensive catalogue. Clients may access documents from the system, or indeed upload scanned documents or any other document to the system in any file format, including PDF, Microsoft Word, Excel, HTML, TIFF or JPEG images. The system houses s document templates for all classes of property valuation and consultancy, so that our operatives may access these remotely. This has significant benefit when undertaking valuation assignments for remote properties throughout Australia. It also allows staff to be more time efficient, operating from home in certain circumstances to avoid delays in commuting to the office and hence finalising work assignments. Newcastle and Central Coast Pty Ltd Corporate Profile Page 9

Secondly, the system allows ongoing internet connectivity with clients through the email communication system. The ability to use E-Valuers in an ongoing sense allows clients to readily access background support documentation and our completed valuation reports. We have found our clients are relying on this system as a filing system in its own right to gain access to documentation well after valuations and consultancy assignments are completed. Benefits of E-Valuers E-Valuers delivers many significant benefits to our clients, such as the ability to: Establish electronic files for each property Submit instructions straight into the system Upload all supporting documentation Receive email updates and delay notifications Monitor the progress of the assignment Access all reports and supporting documents 24/7 via the Internet. The system reduces turnaround times by enabling our team members to: Access assignments anytime, anywhere Send requests for further information Advise clients of access delays.
