This seminar will review the key provisions that have changed as well as brand new requirements such as electric vehicle charging stations. The pros and cons of early adoption of upcoming requirements will also be discussed. This seminar will also cover a review of best practices for accessible design under the provisions of Chapter 11B of the 2013 CBC. The building standards codes establish minimum requirements. By going just a bit beyond these minimum set requirements, we can create better buildings that not only provide for greater accessibility but also reduce legal risks for building owners related to accessibility.
