STAGE ONE Construction of Solitary Islands Village commenced in late 27. Solitary Islands Village 34 villas with a community cottage. STAGE TWO The second stage of development will be subject to obtaining the necessary State Government and Local Government approvals. It is planned that this stage will provide: The Solitary Islands Retreat - a complex of units providing supported living accommodation and respite care facilities. The Solitary Islands Resort - a complex of 30 units providing supported respite care for persons who are not eligible for an ACAT assessment and visitor accommodation. - Expansion of the Solitary Islands Village with an additional 18 three bedroom villas. - A Health Care Centre providing medical care, allied health care, and community care services; together with pool and gym facilities. - Expanded catering services within the restaurant. Applications for approval for the second stage of development will be lodged during 28.

The Villas For illustration purposes only New, luxurious two and three bedroom villas located in Mullaway form the Village community. Each villa will have modern bathroom & kitchen fittings, a large living and dining area that leads onto a private terrace, and a large lockup garage. Private access roads and paths monitored by Village Security, together with personal lock-up parking within each villa, provide additional security for residents. Each villa will have 24 hour emergency call buttons installed for additional peace of mind. The Community Centre will offer a variety of facilities including; community kitchen, BBQ, lounge and activity facilities. Residents can meet and mingle with other neighbours, and reserve the space for private celebrations and events. Every month villagers will be able to schedule additional paid services with visiting health and allied care professionals for health checks, beauty treatments, haircuts, & massage treatments. The Solitary Islands Restaurant will be independently owned and operated. The restaurant will provide local, seasonal menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For casual and fine dining, Solitary Islands Restaurant is the place to go. Utilizing locally sourced & naturally grown produce and ingredients, SIR offers modern Australian cuisine that mixes the sophistication of International techniques with the unique Indigenous Australian flavours. An online ordering system will be available for Village residents to order packaged hot and cold meals. Groceries can also be ordered and delivered right to your front door.
