CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BAY BY-LAW 2002-319 Being a by-law to establish fees and charges for certain services provided by the Township of Georgian Bay. WHEREAS, Section 220 (2) of the Savings & Restructuring Act, S.O., 1996, Chapter [, authorizes Councils of municipalities to pass by-laws imposing fees or charges on any class of person for services or activities provided or done by or on behalf of it, and for the use of its property including property under ils control, NOW THEREFORE, be it hereby enacted by the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Georgian Bay, 1. That fees shall be charged for all the services listed in Schedule "A" attached hereto, and forming part of this by-law, 2. That all fees are due and payable at the time the service is provided. If the fees or any portion thereof remain unpaid on the first day of the month immediately following, interest at the rate of 1.25% shall be charged, and again on the first day of each month thereafter until the account is paid in full. If the fees remain unpaid at December 31st in the year in which they were incurred, the fees and any interest will be added to the tax roll in the next year, on the real property of the owner. 3. That any costs associated with the collection of unpaid fees shall be charged at a rate of S per hour. 4. That this by-law shall come into force and lake effect on the date passed by Council. 5. That any other by-laws contrary to the provisions set out in this by-law, are hereby repealed. Read a first and second time this 16 day of December, 2002.
