Borghi, Cento, Jones, Lee, Bischof and Slay, was again presented and read, vacating sewer easements in Forum West - Phase, in St. Louis County, Missouri. The Chairman declared proposed Ordinance No. 281-82 adopted, and it was assigned Ordinance No. 4722. ADOPTON OF PROPOSED ORDNANCE NO. 232-82 MAKNG A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRA TON OF $56,200.00 FROM THE OPERATON, MANTENANCE AND CONSTRUCTON MPROVEMENT FUND OF BLACK CREEK TO BE USED FOR ADDTONAL COSTS N THE CONSTRUCTON OF STORM SEWERS N FOLK AVENUE (S-1452, C-847), N THE CTY OF MAPLEWOOD, MSSOUR. Proposed Ordinance No. 232-82, introduced May 5, 1982 by Messrs. Motion made by Mr. Lee, seconded by Mr. Borghi, that proposed Ordinance No. 282-82 be adopted. The Chairman declared proposed Ordinance No. 282-82 adopted, and it was assigned Ordinance No. 4723. NTRODUCTON AND ADOPTON 0F,:RR0P0SED ORDNANCE NO. 291-82 APPROPRATNG $1,500.00 FROM THE REAL PROPERTY PURCHASE FUND FOR THE PURCHASE OF A CERTAN PARCEL OF REAL PROPERTY N ST. LOUS COUNTY, MSSOUR FOR THE CON- STRUCTON OF LOWER CAULKS CREEK PUMP STATON B. ^ Proposed Ordinance No. 291-82 was presented and read, appropriating $1,500.00 from the Real Property Purchase Fund for the purchase of a certain parcel of real property in St. Louis County, Missouri for the construction of Lower Caulks Creek Pump Station B. Mr. Etwert explained that this appropriation was for the purchase of a tract of ground on the south side of Highway 40 in Lower Caulks Creek. " 2 -

Mr. Bischof asked if there was adequate access, and Mr. Etwert responded that there was an easement off Chesterfield Airport Road. LOUS SEWER DSTRCT TO PURCHASE FROM THE OWNER THEREOF A CERTAN PARCEL OF REAL PROPERTY N- ST. LOUS COUNTY, MSSOUR, FOR THE CONSTRUCTON OF LOWER CAULKS CREEK PUMP STATON B. _^^_ Proposed Ordinance No. 292-32 was presented and read, authorizing and directing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to purchase from the owner thereof a certain parcel of real property in St. Louis County, Missouri, for the construction of Lower Caulks Creek Pump Station B. Motion made by Mr. Borghi, seconded by Mr. Lee, for unanimous consent of all members present for introduction and final voting on proposed Ordinance No. 292-82 at this meeting. R. E. Jones F. R. NTRODUCTON OF PROPOSED ORDNANCE NO. 293-32 MAKNG A SUPPLEMENTAL APPRO PRATON OF $640,000.00 FROM THE MSSSSPP RVER CONSTRUCTON FUND, OF WHCH $64,000.00 S TO BE USED TO PAY THE DSTRCT'S TEN PERCENT SHARE; A GRANT OF $480,000.00 HAS BEEN RECEVED FROM THE ENVRONMENTAL PROTECTON AGER-CY, AND $96,000.00 HAS BEEN RESERVED BY THE MSSOUR DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES,FOR ADDTONAL COSTS FOR DETALED NSPEGTON PURSUANT TO ENGNEERNG CONTRACT E-229, AND SUPPLEMENT NO. 1 OF LEMAY WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT - CONTRACTS PA-62, PA-63, AND PA-64, N ST. LOUS COUNTY, MSSOUR, FEDERAL PROJECT C290540. Proposed Ordinance No. 293-82 was presented and read, making a supplemental appropriation of $640,000.00 from the Mississi.ppi River Construction Fund, of which $54,000.00 is to be used to pay the District's ten percent share; a grant of $480,000.00 has been received from the Environmental Protection Agency, and $96,000.00 has been reserved by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for additional costs for detailed inspection pursuant to Engineering Contract E-229, and supplement No. 1 of Lemay Wastewater Treatment Plant - Contracts PA-52, PA-63, and PA-64, in St. Louis County, Missouri, Federal Project C290540. Mr. Etwert stated that this supplemental appropriation was needed so that a detailed inspection could be made by the firm of Russell & Axon over the next 12 months of 3 construction projects totaling approximately $75,000,000.00. LOUS SEWER DSTRCT, AND ENACTNG A NEW ORDNANCE N LEU THEREOF ON THE SAME SUBJECT..- - Proposed Ordinance No. 295-82 was presented and read, repealing Ordinance No. 2506, adopted December 12, 1973, prescribing the times for holding regular-and special meetings of the Board of T>"ustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and enacting a new ordinance in lieu thereof on the same subject. - 4 -

Mr. Boyer explained that the old ordinance provides that the Board shall hold regular meetings on the 2nd,. 4th and 5th Wednesdays of each month. The new ordinance will provide that regular meetings will be held on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Wednesdays of each month. He further explained that -in this way meetings will be held 3 times per month without giving special notice. Motion made by Mr. Jones, seconded by Mr. Lee, that proposed Ordinance No. 295-82 be introduced. -t R. E. Jones F. R. Slay. PLAN APPROVAL Mr. Etwert said that the Staff has reviewed these plans and recommends their approval. DAMMERT & PAULE (S-1755) This project, designed by the District's Engineering Staff, is to eliminate flooding from surface flow. t consists of approximately 503 lineal feet of storm sewer varying in size from 12 to 18 inches in diameter. Motion made by Mr. Lee, seconded by Mr. Bischof, that plans for Dammert & Paule be approved. Motion passed. - 5 ayes, no nays. H.W. Lee, Jr. TREARCY LANE (S-l722) This project, designed by the District's Engineering Staff, is to alleviate ponding. t c.onsists of 270 lineal feet of 12 inch concrete pipe, one inlet and one inlet-manhole. Motion made by Mr. Lee, seconded by Mr. Bischof, that plans for Trearcy Lane be approved; Motion.passed - 5 ayes, no nays. Poll taken: F. C. Borghi M, J, Bischof, Jr, R. E, Jones F. R. Slay 5 -

SUBDS.TRCT NO. 573 (OLD TRALS, SECTON ) This project, designed by the District's Engineering Staff, is to provide sanitary sewers for an area presently served by individual septic tanks. t consists of 1,309 lineal feet of 3 inch sanitary sewer, 9 manholes and appurtenances. Motion made by Mr. Lee, seconded by Mr. Bischof, that plans for Subdistrict No. 573 (Old Trails, Section ) be approved. Poll taken: F. C. Borghi R. E. Jones M. J. Bischof, Jr. F. R.
