A quorum consists of 74 co-owners, including member s present, absentee, and proxy ballots. Your vote is important. Enclosed you will find your ballot. If you have ideas for improvements to the association, consider running for the Board. We meet once a month, second Wednesday. June General Membership Meeting will be held at the Oceola Township Hall on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 7:00 p. m. Mark this date on your calendar and plan on attending. This is your time to let the Board know what you are thinking about the needs of the Association. DATES TO REMEMBER GARAGE SALE DATES: Spring dates: Thursday to Saturday, May 31, June 1-2 Fall dates: No Fall Garage Sale SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY Any structure holding 24 inches of water is considered a swimming pool by the State of Michigan. This includes in ground, above ground, on-ground swimming pools and hot tubs and spas. These items must have State, township and HHCA approval and permits. These structures are a liability for all of us. Do not put a structure like this on your property without approval. There are a lot of dogs in the subdivision, therefore please make sure to pick-up after your pets when you are out walking them. Everyone appreciates a clean environment for our children to play in. All pets must be under positive control of their owners at all times. This means you cannot allow them to run free at any time. Your pets can not be on your neighbor's property and cannot be using your neighbor's property for their bathroom. The Livingston County Sheriff makes periodic patrols of the Association. Watch your Speeding and Stop Sign running.
If you are behind in your dues, please make arrangements with Your Peace of Mind to make payments such as to allow you to catch-up and become current. E-mail or call them with a plan. Once we turn a case over to legal the Board and Your Peace of Mind can not help you. As the cost skyrocket with legal fees. All homeowners need to regularly check their road drains and other drains for a build-up of debris around the drain opening. Also, please keep the small rocks and sand swept up along the curbs. Please keep in mind that recreational vehicles are not to be stored within the Association area unless they are in the garage, this includes, but not limited to boats, trailers, and vehicles without current licenses, IAW Articles VI, section 22. Cutting trees in the common areas is prohibited unless approved by the Association Board. Permission must be requested before cutting. Remember, unlicensed motor vehicles are not allowed on HHCA managed properties includes but not limited to mopeds, golf carts, and mini-bikes. These items on the streets pose a safety hazard.
