REGULATIONS FOR AND CONDITIONS OF SALE 1. All animals must be put up for Auction, and sold in the order in which they appear in the Catalogue. Animals not presented in the Sale Ring, in catalogue order, will not be admitted to the Sale Ring until the end of the section of the Sale, for which they are entered. 2. The pedigree, history and description of each animal shall be guaranteed and warranted to be correct in all particulars, by the person whose name appears as Vendor but such animal shall be sold, subject to all faults. No liability whatsoever shall be undertaken by the Society or Auctioneer, for the statements appearing in the catalogue. The Vendors who supply such statements are alone responsible for any error or misrepresentation. 3. Vendors must provide competent persons to take charge of their stock until the close of Sale, whether sold or unsold. 4. The Society, its Servants or Agents shall have no responsibility for any issue arising in relation to the fertility of registered rams purchased at a Society or other sales. Any such issue arising lies solely and remains between the Vendor and the Purchaser. However the Society does hold that a ram shall be deemed incapable of natural and effective service if the ram fails to make at least one ewe pregnant under natural breeding conditions within 90 days from date of purchase provided always that (a) any injury or illness however so caused, suffered or contracted by the ram after the sale whilst in the care of the Purchaser does not occur, or (b) the ram is not deceased. 5. The animals shall be sold in Euros. The minimum selling price is 300.00. All sales subject to 5% commission, payable by the Purchaser. 6. Should any animal pass out of the Sale Ring unsold and be subsequently sold privately, the Purchaser shall pay the commission on such private sale, which must be booked into the Sale Office. 7. The Purchaser shall provide his/her name and address in writing and pay in full, the purchase money for each lot, at the fall of the hammer (if required). In default of same, such lot or lots, so purchased, may be put up for sale again immediately and resold. 8. No lot or lots shall be removed from the premises until paid for but each and every lot shall immediately at the fall of the hammer, be considered as delivered and be, and remain in every respect, at the absolute risk of the respective purchaser(s) thereof and shall be removed from the place of sale at the purchaser(s) expense. 9. Should any question arise, not provided for in the aforesaid Rules, Regulations or Conditions the decision of the Auctioneer shall be final from which there is no appeal. 10. All sheep are on the market on entering the Sale Ring. 11. There must be a minimum of two sheep for a show class at a sale. There must be two class winners for a sale championship. 12. A black ribbon around a sheep s neck, signifies that such sheep is a sale substitute. 13. Re-Runs In each class any unsold sheep of the first five sheep offered for sale can be re-run at the end of the first ballot. Should there be only one ballot, then they will be re-run at the end of their class. Other unsold sheep regardless of ballot or class will be sold at the end of the sale. 14.
