THE THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE, GAZETTE, JANUARY OCTOBER 18, 17, 2002 2008 699 19 THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE, OCTOBER 17, 2008 699 REVISED REGULATIONS OF SASKATCHEWAN CHAPTER S-34 REG 6 The Saskatchewan Telecommunications Act Section 46 Order in Council 684/2008, dated October 2, 2008 (Filed October 3, 2008) Title 1 These regulations may be cited as The Saskatchewan Telecommunications Fees Regulations. Interpretation 2 In these regulations: (a) Act means The Saskatchewan Telecommunications Act; (b) corporation means Saskatchewan Telecommunications continued pursuant to section 3 of the Act; (c) wireless customer means a customer of the corporation s wireless service who has the capacity to place emergency 911 telephone calls through the Sask911 system and who is assigned a telephone number associated with Saskatchewan. Requirement to pay fee 3 To reimburse the corporation for the costs mentioned in clause 9(1)(d.3) of the Act, every wireless customer is required to pay the corporation a fee of $0.21 per working telephone number per month. Coming into force 4(1) Subject to subsection (2), these regulations come into force on October 15, 2008. (2) If these regulations are filed with the Registrar of Regulations after October 15, 2008, these regulations come into force on the day on which they are filed with the Registrar of Regulations. SASKATCHEWAN REGULATIONS 88/2008 The Farm Financial Stability Act Sections 22, 24, 33 and 84 Order in Council 682/2008, dated October 2, 2008 (Filed October 3, 2008) Title 1 These regulations may be cited as The Farm and Ranch Water Infrastructure Program Amendment Regulations, 2008. R.R.S. c.f-8.001 Reg 35 amended 2 The Farm and Ranch Water Infrastructure Program Regulations are amended in the manner set forth in these regulations. Section 2 amended 3(1) Clause 2(c) is amended by striking out rural municipality listed in Table 1 or Table 2 of the Appendix or on an Indian reserve listed and substituting rural municipality, or on an Indian reserve, listed.
700 THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE, OCTOBER 17, 2008 (2) Subclause 2(h)(ii) is amended: (a) in paragraph (A) by striking out or Table 2 ; and (b) in paragraph (B) by striking out or Table 2. Section 4 amended 4(1) Subsection 4(2) is repealed and the following substituted: (2) The Minister of Finance is authorized to deposit into the account: (a) all contributions from the Government of Canada that are directed to the account for the purposes of the program pursuant to an agreement made pursuant to subsection 22(2) of the Act; and (b) from moneys appropriated by the Legislature, all contributions of the Government of Saskatchewan to the program pursuant to an agreement made pursuant to subsection 22(2) of the Act. (2) Subsection 4(3) is repealed and the following substituted: (3) The account consists of: (a) all contributions mentioned in clause (2)(a); (b) all moneys appropriated by the Legislature: (i) for the purposes of the program; or (ii) for any other farm income stabilization purpose, if the Minister of Finance designates that those moneys are to be paid into the account; (c) all earnings on investments of the account; and (d) all other moneys received in the account for the purposes of the program. (3) Subsection 4(5) is repealed and the following substituted: (5) Any surplus remaining in the account when the program is completed is to be returned to the Government of Canada and the Government of Saskatchewan in proportion to each government s contribution to the account. Section 7 amended 5(1) Subclause 7(b)(i) is amended by adding dugouts, after in the case of an on-farm project,. (2) The following clause is added after clause 7(b): (b.1) is initiated on or after March 19, 2008 and completed before November 1, 2009.
THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE, OCTOBER 17, 2008 701 Section 8 amended 6 Subsection 8(2) is repealed and the following substituted: (2) In the application form mentioned in clause (1)(b), the eligible applicant must: (a) describe the proposed eligible project; (b) identify the location of the proposed eligible project by including the legal land description and the rural municipality or Indian reserve in which the land is situated; (c) in the case of an application respecting an on-farm project, describe: (i) the farming operation, including the number of acres farmed and the number of livestock, if any; and (ii) the uses for water; (d) describe the water-related problems the eligible project is attempting to address; and (e) describe the benefits of the proposed project. Section 11 amended 7(1) Subsection 11(1) is repealed and the following substituted: (1) Subject to subsection (3) and section 13, the minister may approve as eligible expenditures any of the expenditures mentioned in subsection (2), if the minister is satisfied that those expenditures were incurred by an eligible applicant for an approved eligible project. (2) Subclause 11(2)(a)(i) is amended by adding generators, after including. (3) Subclause 11(2)(a)(ii) is repealed and the following substituted: (ii) construction costs dedicated to the development of a secure water supply, including costs related to: (A) power installation, subject to the limits set out in clause 13(2)(a); (B) dugout excavation; (C) well drilling; (D) the purchasing and installing of screening; and (E) the installing of pipelines. (4) Clause 11(3)(a) is repealed and the following substituted: (a) taxes.
702 THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE, OCTOBER 17, 2008 Section 13 amended 8 Subsections 13(2) and (3) are repealed and the following substituted: (2) The amount of a program payment for an on-farm project that has been approved pursuant to section 10 is not to exceed 65% of the eligible expenditures for the approved project less any other governmental assistance: (a) to the maximum amount of $30,000 in the case of power installation costs mentioned in subclause 11(2)(a)(ii); and (b) to the maximum amount of $60,000 in the case of a project whose purpose was to develop a deep buried pipeline. (3) The amount of a program payment for a community well project that has been approved pursuant to section 10 is not to exceed 85% of the eligible expenditures for the approved project less any other governmental assistance. SASKATCHEWAN REGULATIONS 89/2008 The Saskatchewan Medical Care Insurance Act Sections 14 and 48 Order in Council 683/2008, dated October 2, 2008 (Filed October 3, 2008) Title 1 These regulations may be cited as The Saskatchewan Medical Care Insurance Payment Amendment Regulations, 2008 (No. 4). R.R.S. c.s-29 Reg 19 section 3 amended 2 Subclause 3(d)(v) of The Saskatchewan Medical Care Insurance Payment Regulations, 1994 is repealed and the following substituted: (v) for services provided in the period commencing on April 1, 2007, the schedule adopted by the ministry for payment of physician services and entitled Saskatchewan Health Payment Schedule for Insured Services Provided by a Physician, April 1, 2007, as amended by: (A) the Saskatchewan Health Physician s Newsletter Number 31, dated October 1, 2007; (B) the Saskatchewan Health Physician s Newsletter Number 32, dated April 1, 2008; and (C) the Saskatchewan Health Physician s Newsletter Number 33, dated October 1, 2008. Coming into force 3(1) Subject to subsection (2), these regulations come into force on October 1, 2008. (2) If these regulations are filed with the Registrar of Regulations after October 1, 2008, these regulations come into force on the day on which they are filed with the Registrar of Regulations but are retroactive and are deemed to have been in force on and from October 1, 2008.

R.R.S. c.g-5.1 Reg 142, section 3 amended 2 The following clause is added after clause 3(g) of The Ministry of Justice and Attorney General Regulations, 2007: (h) to co-ordinate, develop, promote, implement and enforce policies and programs of the Government of Saskatchewan relating to registration of vital events and changes of name and to the use of the Vital Statistics Registry system to achieve public policy objectives. Coming into force 3(1) Subject to subsection (2), these regulations come into force on October 12, 2008. (2) If these regulations are filed with the Registrar of Regulations after October 12, 2008, these regulations come into force on the day on which they are filed with the Registrar of Regulations.
