Historical Society ofwestern Pennsylvania The Society is amembership organization that collects, preserves and interprets the history, artifacts and cultural heritage ofpittsburgh and its region. Membership: Membership is open to anyone interested in the Society's goals and activities. Classes ofannual membership and dues are as follows: Individual, $25; Family, $35; Contributor, $50; Patron, $100; Friend, $250; Benefactor, $500. Membership includes free admission to the Society's regular lectures and films, quarterly issues ofpittsburgh History and the Society's newsletter, admission to special programs and exhibits, the Society's annual report, and discounts on tours, books and gift items. Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30 to4:30. Adonation isrequested for admission. Gallery tours and other public programs are available by appointment.
