CHALET RENTAL INFORMATION Thank you very much for your reservation at. Our chalets come with a fully equipped kitchen including a standard size fridge, stove, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, pots, pans and cutlery. The chalet also comes with toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, garbage bags, etc. (You may want to bring some coolers as the fridge is only regular sized) Specialty items like blenders, electric frying pans, measuring cups, hair dryer, ironing board, etc. are not provided. Each bed comes with 2 pillows and a blanket, you must bring your own sheets and pillow cases. If ordered in advance, bedding can be provided at a cost of $10 per bed. (Chalets that come with the bedding are Units A7 & A8 9 Bdrm. and Unit #162 6 Bdrm.) PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS. For a detailed list of each chalet s amenities, please see your chalets detailed description on our web site www.tyrolean.com BBQ s are only provided from May to October, there are no BBQ s during the winter time. During the winter months a BBQ can be rented if organized ahead of time for $95 + tax for the weekend. During the summer months each chalet has a picnic table on the deck but we recommend you bring some folding chairs so that you can fully enjoy the large decks overlooking the mountains. For chalets with a log burning fireplace you are only allowed to burn the 3 hour burning logs that are sold in most super markets, etc. No natural wood or other materials are allowed to be burned in the fireplace. These 3 HOUR burning logs are also available for purchase in the office upon check in. Each chalet has a fireplace, either log burning or gas or electric. All major cell phone companies have coverage in the area (Bell, Rogers, Telus) WIFI Internet access is available in the chalets. The cost is $25 for unlimited usage during your stay. You can arrange this upon check in at the office The municipality strictly enforces NO PARKING on the streets. If you need additional parking please inquire at the office. A 40% deposit is required to confirm your reservation and the Balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. The chalet rental fee is non refundable if cancelled within 30 days prior of your arrival date. Reservations made less than 30 days before arrival and subsequently cancelled are non refundable. A 3% credit card processing fee will be charged for cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival.

SECURITY DEPOSIT a $1,500 security deposit is required upon check in. The security deposit is just a pre authorization on a credit card and will expire after your check out, no charges will appear on your credit card, as long as there were no damages or problems during your stay (As per signed rental agreements). If you are arriving after hours, the security Deposit must be processed in advance so that your keys can be picked up at our Security Office. Your chalet was rented to you based on an understanding of the number of people that will be staying in the chalet. No guests are allowed in the chalet. Violation of this rule will result in loss of your security deposit and possible eviction. (Tyrolean Village strictly prohibits any high schools after proms and groups under 21 years of age) We ask that you please be considerate of your neighbors and observe respectable behaviour. Therefore amplifiers and high volume sound systems are not permitted. All music/noise must be kept at a reasonable level inside the cottage. The management reserves the right to evict tenants for disruptive behaviour. Before leaving your cottage, please make sure you have left nothing of value. We cannot be responsible for these items. Please also close all windows, turn off all lights, clean all your dishes and put them away and return all furniture to its original place. Please bag all your garbage and drop off at the garbage bins beside the Volleyball courts on Tyrolean Lane. A cleaning charge will be deducted from your security deposit if the cottage has not been left in a satisfactory condition. is a pet friendly resort. Any mess or hairs left behind as a result of a pet will result in an automatic, minimum $150 cleaning charge. We recommend you bring a small vacuum to clean up after your pet. There is no charge for pets but we expect the chalet to be left without any mess from a pet (pet hair especially). CHECK IN time is 4:00 PM on the day or arrival and CHECK OUT is 11:00 AM on the day of departure. If you wish to make alternative arrangements regarding these times please inquire at the office. Based on availability a late check out until 3:30 PM can be arranged for an additional $50 fee. Upon check out please bring all keys to the office. DOCUMENTS TO BE SIGNED AT CHECK IN AGREEMENT BETWEEN TYROLEAN VILLAGE RESORTS LTD. AND (TENANT) FOR THE RENTAL OF CHALET # FOR THE PERIOD OF TO. The Tenant(s) acknowledge the following conditions of their rental of a chalet unit: 1) The TOWN OF THE BLUE MOUNTAINS has adopted a NOISE BYLAW (#2002-09) which states NO PERSON SHALL MAKE NOISE OR CAUSE NOISE TO BE MADE THAT WOULD BE LIKELY TO DISTURB THE INHABITANTS OF THE MUNICIPALITY. You are not allowed to disturb any of your neighbors or interfere with their enjoyment of the resort at any time of the day or night. Only radios or compact audio devices are permitted inside the chalet amplifiers and high volume sound systems are not permitted. The Municipality is enforcing the Noise Bylaw with the Ontario Provincial Police and Ltd. Security. 2) The chalet was rented to your group based on the understanding of the number of people who will be occupying the chalet. You may not have more people staying or residing in the chalet than was agreed upon in the Reservation Confirmation. No guests are allowed in the chalet at any time unless agreed upon in advance with the Office. 3) The chalet was rented to you on the understanding that you and your group were at least 21 years of age. 4) TYROLEAN VILLAGE SECURITY reserves the right to enter a chalet during its occupation in the event that it has the grounds to believe there are more people than allowed in the chalet, that a noise violation has occurred, damages have occurred to the chalet or that the occupants are under 21 years of age. 5) TYROLEAN VILLAGE RESORTS LTD. RESERVES THE RIGHT TO EVICT A TENANT without refund in the event that 1) more people are in the chalet than was agreed upon in the Reservation Confirmation; 2) a noise violation has occurred; 3) damages have been done to the chalet; 4) the occupants of the chalet are under 21 years of age. Also, the Tenant may lose their Security Deposit or be asked to increase the amount of their existing Security Deposit forthwith in the event that a problem of this nature has occurred, in the absolute discretion of Ltd. 6) In order to ensure that you don t receive a cleaning charge on your final bill please pick up and bag all your garbage from inside and outside the chalet, wash your dishes and generally leave the chalet in a reasonable condition upon check out. There are garbage dumpsters beside the Volleyball Courts where you must dispose of your garbage bags. All recycling, properly separated, should be left inside the front door of the chalet. You will find an instruction sheet regarding our garbage & recycling policies in the chalet failure to follow these instructions will result in a charge to your Security Deposit 7) The Tenant acknowledges that there is a minimum $300 charge for tampering with the fire extinguisher or fire detectors. There is a properly functioning smoke detector on every floor of the chalet. It is the Tenant's responsibility to inform Ltd if this is not the case upon checking into their chalet. 8) After check out, within 2-3 days, your chalet will be cleaned and as long as there are no damages or cleaning charges your Security Deposit will be destroyed. 9) The Office is open from 8:30am to 7pm Mon. to Fri. and 10am to 4pm Sat. & Sun. DOCUMENT TO BE SIGNED AT CHECK IN NOISE COMPLAINTS Please be advised that the Town of The Blue Mountains has a Noise By-law that is in effect 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week, under Municipal By-law NO. 2002-09, as amended, and it states. NO PERSON SHALL MAKE NOISE OR CAUSE NOISE TO BE MADE OR PERMIT NOISE TO BE MADE THAT WOULD BE LIKELY TO DISTURB THE INHABITANTS OF THE MUNICIPALITY You are not allowed to disturb any of your neighbours or interfere with their enjoyment of the Town of the Blue Mountains at any time of the day or night. In order to ensure the rights of all residents and visitors are protected, the signing of this form acknowledges understanding of the terms of the By-law and constitutes agreement to abide by those restrictions during tenancy in The Blue Mountains. Failure to comply with the conditions of the By-law may result with the notification of the O.P.P. who may issue a Notice of Offence, which carries with it a fine, upon conviction, of $615.00 for a first offence. At Blue Mountain DOCUMENT TO BE SIGNED AT CHECK IN SHORT TERM ACCOMMODATION LICENSE STA BYLAW # 2013-50, Town of the Blue Mountains The Town of the Blue Mountains (Town) has enacted a licensing bylaw to regulate SHORT TERM RENTALS and to ensure that rental tenants visiting the area abide by the local bylaws. In the event that the tenant does not abide by the local bylaw which includes the following items (1 to 5), the tenant understands that the municipality may enforce the bylaw and that they will be wholly liable for any fines, penalties, hearing costs and loss of chalet rental income that results because the tenant contravened the Bylaw. 1) Tampering with or dismantling any of the fire safety equipment within the chalet. 2) Over Occupying the Chalet, each chalet has a set number of guests that are allowed to occupy the chalet and no additional guests are allowed to occupy or visit the chalet. 3) The 24 Hour noise bylaw has been violated and / or the guests have disturbed their neighbors with noise and rowdy behaviour. 4) No parking is allowed on the street. Additional parking is available on the resort, please contact the office. 5) Garbage must be properly disposed of in the garbage drop off area, garbage and cigarette butts cannot be littered around the chalet.
