This Ordinance affects all Use Variances, Major Subdivisions and Site Plans. Therefore, this now applies to your application and must be submitted prior to your hearing. Your EIS Statement or Waiver Request must be submitted in writing to the Environmental Commission as well as the Land use Board with your Land Use Board application. Please submit nine (9) copies of the EIS Statement or EIS Waiver Request with your Land Use Board application to be reviewed by the Environmental Commission. The Environmental Commission will advise and give their recommendations to the Land Use Board. The Environmental Commission meets the fourth (4th) Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM. If you personally plan to appear or have representation at the meeting please let us know when you file your EIS Statement or Waiver Request. EIS Waiver Request Sample Letter Eagleswood Township Land Use Board Eagleswood Township Environmental Commission 146 Division Street West Creek, NJ 08092 Dear Chairperson(s): This letter is written to request that the Land Use Board waive the requirement for an environmental impact statement for this application due to the Minor and negligible environmental impact of the project. The existing property owned by (name of owner) consists of (#)acres of (description of the land). ATTENTION APPLICANT and PROFESSIONALS Per Eagleswood Township Code Chapter 92-11.1 After filing, the applicant will furnish to the Secretary a duplicate original tracing showing the filing information thereon and five (5) copies of the approved plat together with a statement from the applicant's engineer that theses are true copies of the plat approved by the engineer that these are true copies of the plat approved by the Land Use Board, who will then make the necessary distributions. When delivering the required five (5) copies of the final certified maps to the Land Use Board office that have been filed with the County, they must be folded and not rolled. Thank you.
