LOCATION ANALYSIS The Town of Mojave is located about 25 miles north of the City of Lancaster in the north end of the Antelope Valley in Kern County. At this point is the junction of two major highways: State Route 14 is the principal arterial into the eastern Sierras including Bishop and Mammoth Mountains, State Route 58 is the principal highway west to Bakersfield. The population in the area including Mojave, Boron, California City, Edwards AFB, and Tehachapi is about 26,500 persons, as per 2000 Census.
