F-9 Council declared that operating profit of Island Investment Development Inc. for the fiscal year ended 31 March 2007 in the amount of $274,060.00 be retained by the Corporation. EC2007-540 ISLAND WASTE MANAGEMENT CORPORATION DECLARATION TO RETAIN PROFIT (reference TB#158/07 of 5 September 2007) and pursuant to section 72 of the Financial Administration Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. F-9 Council declared that the operating profit of Island Waste Management Corporation for the fiscal year ended 31 March 2007 in the amount of $129,503.00 be retained by the Corporation. EC2007-541 SELF-INSURANCE AND RISK MANAGEMENT FUND DECLARATION TO RETAIN PROFIT (reference TB#159/07 of 5 September 2007) and pursuant to section 72 of the Financial Administration Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. F-9 Council declared that the operating profit of the Prince Edward Island Self-Insurance and Risk Management Fund for the fiscal year ended 31 March 2007 in the amount of $187,811.00 be retained by the Corporation. EC2007-542 SUMMERSIDE REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION DECLARATION TO RECOUP LOSS (reference TB155/07 of 5 September 2007) and pursuant to section 72 of the Financial Administration Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. F-9 Council declared that the net operating loss for the fiscal year ended 31 March 2007 of the Summerside Regional Development Corporation in the amount of $168,339.00 be recouped from the future operations of the Corporation.

EC2007-559 PUBLIC DEPARTMENTS ACT DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE DEPUTY MINISTER APPOINTMENT WAYNE HOOPER (TO RESCIND) Council, having under consideration Order-in-Council EC2007-375 of 12 June 2007, rescinded the said Order, thus rescinding the appointment of Wayne Hooper as Deputy Minister of Agriculture, effective 11 September 2007. EC2007-560 PUBLIC DEPARTMENTS ACT DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE DEPUTY MINISTER - APPOINTMENT BRIAN DOUGLAS (APPROVED) Pursuant to subsection 7(1) of the Public Departments Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. P-29 Council appointed Brian Douglas to serve at pleasure as Deputy Minister of Agriculture, effective 11 September 2007. EC2007-561 PUBLIC DEPARTMENTS ACT DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE ASSISTANT DEPUTY MINISTER - APPOINTMENT ROBERT MORRISON (APPROVED) Pursuant to subsection 7(1) of the Public Departments Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. P-29 Council appointed Robert Morrison to serve at pleasure as Assistant Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Policy and Strategic Planning, effective 11 September 2007.

422 EC2007-562 LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY BY-ELECTION ELECTORAL DISTRICT NO. 4 BELFAST-MURRAY RIVER Council ordered that a Writ do issue for a By-election in Electoral District No. 4, Belfast-Murray River, to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Patrick G. Binns. The said Writ shall bear the date of Monday, the 17th day of September 2007, and Ordinary Polling Day shall be on Monday, the 15th day of October 2007.
