THE VISION FOR LINCOLN SQUARE Redevelopment plans for Lincoln Square, which sit directly behind Union and Albert Square, are designed to re-engage the public with this space, making it more inspirational, functional and user-friendly. The public realm space that sits between Union and the main Spinningfields gateway is being developed by Planit-IE and focuses on inviting people into the area, better defining the physical and visual connectivity. Union is not the only building on Albert Square receiving a make-over, there are a number of planned redevelopments in the surrounding area. The development pipeline will see this area completely transformed.
