Edinburgh Airport is just over four miles away, and several First bus services pass through Kirkliston. Lothian Buses have also introduced a service linking the town with the Gyle Shopping Centre, Edinburgh Park and the Riccarton campus. Education & Health Kirkliston Primary, a popular and successful non-denominational school around ten minutes walk from the development, is a feeder primary for Queensferry Community High School. There is also a health centre with GP services and a dental surgery within a few minutes walk.
