The Athenaeum Hotel, Mayfair Matthew Bate Designer Manager Matt works alongside Katie and focuses on external and structural design for our Construction Division. He is assiduous, hard-working, and confident with developing a scheme from concept through to final design stages. He has hands-on experience of planning processes, building regulations, drawing packages, detailing, meetings and dealing with on-site developments accrued through a rigorous university education and practical contact from several years of experience in Industry; covering most RIBA stages. Matt's experience and ethos towards design have lead him to develop a strong conceptual response to a brief and site, enforcing the links between architecture, place and occupation so they may become one.
