Professional Activities: For the past seven years, I have been a member of the Advisory Board of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research s group on Social Interactions, Identity and Well-Being. In 2010 I became a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. In 2010 I was the Haydn Williams Fellow at Curtin University in Perth. This Fellowship is Curtin University s most prestigious. I was a Visiting Fellow at Curtin University in 2006, 2008 and 2012. In 2008 I presented the Commencement Address for students graduating in economics at the University of Colorado.
