Any activities that take place on the site must be of a Christian nature and/or should not be in contradiction to pure Christian and Biblical principles. Bridges Retreat Centre is situated in the beautiful Franschhoek Valley. Vineyards and mountains surround this tranquil 5-hectare property. Our facilities are suitable for day conferences, retreats and youth camps. Included in our facilities are a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, conference room for meetings, a lounge and en-suite bedrooms with bunk beds. Recreational facilities include a soccer field, swimming pool, trampoline. CONFERENCE CENTRE Facilities Our conference room has curtained windows and ceiling lights with dimmers to provide a subdued ambience for data projection purposes. If daylight is required, the large windows offer views of the pool, garden and mountains. A fireplace offers a cozy atmosphere in winter. The room is carpeted and air-conditioned. It can accommodate 60 people comfortably. For larger groups our Shed provides all the room you should need. Equipment Our facility is equipped with 28 (900!600mm) tables, 8 (1830x750mm) tables and 100 chairs. The conference room has a Big Screen with DVD player, a desktop computer, video projector, and two flip charts (which can serve as whiteboards) are available. Access to a fax machine, photocopier, printer and wireless Internet are available at an extra cost. A 50% accommodation deposit is payable within 14 days of receipt of this package to ensure your booking. 2. A 50% catering deposit is payable within 14 days of receipt of this package to ensure your booking. 3. Breakage deposit of R2000, 00 is due two weeks before your Retreat, Camp or Conference. This amount will not be deducted from your final bill, but will be paid back into your Account, within 7 working days after your stay, if no breakage or loss occurred. 4. Kitchen fee of R300 per day for self-catering. 5. Shed/Games hire R200 per day 6. Conference Fee of R500 per day (Waivered for overnight groups) 7. Balance of payment due on arrival. 8. No deposits will be carried over to future bookings. 9. Deposits are paid directly into our Bank Account (see Booking Form). 10. Smoking only allowed in designated outdoor areas. Quiet time is from 10pm to 8am. Please use quiet voices outside during these hours. Premises are to be left in the condition in which they were found. A clean up fee of R300 will be charged if kitchen is not left in the condition in which it was found. Any breakage must be reported and will be deducted from your breakage deposit. Beds are not to be moved around at all, except by Bridges Retreat Centre Staff, if required. No pets are allowed on premises. No food or drink to be consumed in the bedrooms Picking of fruit, flowers or plants is strictly prohibited without prior consent. Please conserve water. Use of Bridges Retreat Centre facilities or grounds is at own risk. Alcohol consumption please notify Management should your group wish to consume alcohol during your stay.
