H.) *NOTE: There is anecdotal reference to a possible removal of a Hammond cemetery from the area of Beech and Goodwin Road. A.K.P. Hammond who erected this monument lived in that area. Those buried with him here are his parents and siblings. Because of the earlier dates of death (1840/1843) it seems most probable that A.K.P. who died much later (1902) had the bodies moved to this plot where he then erected the monument. A.K.P. Hammond lived in the house on Goodwin Road known as Bonnie View.
