Subretia is a project that was created in the land of the wine, in Montefalco in the Tenuta Rocca di Fabbri. Simona and Roberta Vitali have been passionately engaged with producing high-quality wine and enhancing the region for years. They have accepted the challenge of bringing the culture of wine face to face with the culture of hospitableness in order to create a new concept for accommodation. This concept, which Subretia promotes, does not only entail the intent of upgrading the image of the Montefalco region but also the attempt of letting the environment, tourism and viniculture interact with each other. The complex comprises 18 fully renovated apartments decorated with frescoes. The entrance, only a few meters from the wine vault, provides a wonderful view onto the hills, and the mountains of Trevi in the distance frame the spacious garden. Subretia is a trip on the trip. The picturesque inspirations in the apartments allow for reliving each trip in our memory in symbolical form while giving time a magical dimension. The apartments - standard (25 to 40 m²) and Superior (41 to 60 m²) - provide a fully equipped kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom, satellite TV, telephone, bedclothes and towels.
In the heart of the complex, a water lily-shaped pool with underwater massage and a center fountain, provides a magnificent view onto Umbria s rolling hills. The sun deck with its view onto the pool is perfect for enjoying all the benefits of the sun in the hilly landscape in perfect serenity and at maximum comfort. In the evenings, the sun deck turns out to be perfect for enjoying the setting sun and the nightlight... The complex is situated in a spacious park with a garden, the alleys of which consist of most various regional trees and shrubs. Water lilies, pergolas, cypresses and broom make the visitor discover all the magical places out in the green that provide perfect relaxation. For its own guests, Subretia organizes guided tours through Tenuta Rocca di Fabbri, which include a wine tasting session and a visit to the vineyards of Montefalco. A wonderful moment, when traditional wine and traditional hospitableness come together. 4

Nr. 4 - THE COSMOS sqm. 30 Placed on the ground, in front of the garden, the butterfly tree, the olive-tree, the broom. The interior has small decorations of stars and planets. The ceiling has big wooden beams, decorated by the fanciful hand of the decorator. Dining room, small kitchen, extensible table with 4 clothed chairs. Sofa at the bottom of the bed. Nr. 6 - THE GRAPE sqm. 32 The guest is wrapped up by an azure light that lightens the small kitchen with windows facing onto the garden. On the left, bedroom with double-bed (160x200) with bedhead decorated with grapes, decorated built-in wardrobe. Bathroom with tub and shower. Sofa at the bottom of the bed. Nr. 7 - ORIENT sqm. 42 Placed on the ground, with big French window facing the garden, the swimming-pool, the valley. Decorated with an Arab landscape with a delicate trompe l oeil, framing all the rooms. The sitting room is divided in two areas, the first on the left is destined to the dining room, with extensible table for 4/6 persons and clothed chairs. The second is destined to an alcove that can be used as third bed (120x210) or, during the day, as a comfortable sofa. In front, a writing desk with chair and readinglamp. Satellite Television. Nr. 8 - FONTI DEL CLITUNNO sqm. 52 Placed on the ground, with a view onto the garden and the swimming-pool, this big apartment is decorated with elements recalling water games. By entering and sitting on a small armchair you will discover to be spied by a cat, the favourite subject of the decorator. The area destined to the kichen has been gained in a large niche and equipped with everything you need to cook. Extensible table with 4 clothed chiars. The nearby niche has been equipped with a sofa created by an artisan and that can be used as third bed (120x210). A beautiful readinglamp completes the dining room. Satellite television. Entering the night area, divided from the day area by a coloured glass window, on the left there is a big mirror and a wide bedroom with two beds (100x120) decorated with scenes from the Latin mythology. Nr. 18 - FARMER S HOUSE sqm. 60 On the ground floor, the biggest apartment of Subretia: it is composed of a large sitting room with walls decorated with allegorical festoons. The kitchenette was created inside an ancient chimney, with table and 4/6 clothed chairs. The sitting room is composed of a sofa for two, two armchairs and a small table in the centre. From a big French window you go into the garden and the swimming pool, under shadowy pergolas. Near the sitting room, in very bright understairs, a bedroom with single bed (80x190), decorated with a humorous trompe l oeil. In the other side of the sitting room, two bedrooms, one with a double bed (160x200) with decorations of butterflies, and the other with two separate beds (100x120) and decorated with fishes. Its interior is painted with azure/white stripes, small round tables, white chairs. Ideal place to taste the wines of Rocca di Fabbri and enjoy light meals.
