Thriving Cork Cork is the Republic of Ireland s second largest city with a population of c.220,000 which includes its metropolitan suburbs. The Site The site extends to approximately 42.99 acres and is mainly laid out in grass along with some builders compounds and subsoil mounds from previous developments. The site is elevated and on about the 110m contour with a westerly aspect offering panoramic views over Cork city and the surrounding countryside. Planning has been granted subject to just 27 conditions, one of which relates to a S48 Special Contribution which was successfully appealed.
