Community Information and Amenities When are the fitness classes held and where? Fitness classes are held in the Overlook building Fitness Center. Please contact the leasing office for a current schedule. You may also visit the Sky Building Fitness Center for Fitness On Demand Classes. Can I use all the phases amenities? Yes! Please enjoy! What are the hours of the amenities? 24 Hour Fitness Center. All other amenities such as the pool, club rooms, and business centers close at 10 PM. What time does the pool close? Dusk. How do I reserve the club room? Please contact the Leasing Office. Where is the trash chute? Trash Chutes are located on each floor of the Tower, Point, Sky, Park, and Preserve Buildings. In the Overlook Building, trash chutes are located in the parking garage. Where are the recycling centers? Located in the loading dock of each building. Glass recycling is no longer offered in DeKalb County. What do I do with my move in boxes? Please breakdown the boxes and put them by trash compactor located in the loading dock near the cardboard bailor in every building. How does my fob/remote work? Scan on the pad on any pedestrian gates or amenity areas. Press 1 to enter into the residential gate at the parking deck and 2 to exit. Where are the mailboxes located? Mailboxes are located in the lobby of each building with exception of the Overlook Building. The mail room in the Overlook Building is located next to the leasing office. Do you have resident activities or events? Yes, every month!
Can I have a party at the pool? Unfortunately, you may not. The pool must remain open to all of our residents during open hours. You may however invite 2 guests to join you! Where do I park? You may park in any available spot in the parking garage. Conveniences How do I pay rent online? Call or visit the leasing office and ask to be set up Gables Gateway. After you have been set up, just visit www.gables.com and click on the Gables resident log in link. How do I reserve the freight elevator? Contact the leasing office for information. How do I get a hold of the concierge? Please contact the leasing office at 404-486-0671 and ask for our concierge, she will assist with any inquiries that you may have. Where can I access WIFI in the building? Pool/leasing office/club room/fitness center. Where is the rent drop box? The rent drop box is located by the leasing office, right across from the restrooms by the club lounge. Do you have a courtesy officer onsite and how do I get a hold of them? Yes. Guests Where can my guests park? Phase I: If you have purchased a parking spot, your guests may call you from the guest call box and park in the parking deck on the 3rd floor or above. If you have not purchased a parking spot, your guest will need to pull a ticket from the retail entrance and park in the designated retail area (the first two floors of the parking deck). Phase II: Your guests will enter the Retail Parking deck, pull a ticket and park in an unreserved parking space outside the resident gate. Where do my movers park? Your movers will park in the loading dock of the building you are moving into. Contact the leasing office for loading dock reservations. How does my guest access the garage? Phase I: Your guest will enter through the residential parking deck. To gain entrance into the breezeways from the parking deck, your guest will use the call box on the 3rd level of the parking deck. Phase II: Your guests will enter the Retail Parking deck, pull a ticket and park in an unreserved parking space outside the resident gate. Where does the delivery person come in or do I have to meet them? If you have a furniture delivery, you will need to meet them. UPS, Fedex, Amazon, DHL, and Lasership will all deliver to Parcel Pending or possibly to your door. USPS will deliver to your mailbox or to Parcel Pending. How many guests can I have with me at the amenities? You are allowed to have two guests. How many guests can I have at the pool? You are allowed to have two guests. How do I let friends in the gate? Press 9 on your phone when you get a call from the callbox.
Maintenance How do I submit work orders? Call the leasing office or you may submit a work order through your Gables Gateway account. How do I call Maintenance after hours? Office number: 404-486-0671 and select option #2 for Maintenance What is considered a maintenance emergency? Maintenance problems considered an emergency include the following: Furry Friends 1. No electricity throughout the apartment. 2. No water. 3. No air conditioning on a day of extreme heat (80+ degrees). 4. Water entering the apartment. 5. Possibility of fire. 6. Impeded plumbing in an apartment with only one bathroom. 7. No heat. 8. Non-functioning or malfunctioning smoke detector. 9. Gas leak (also call the gas company). 10. Running water that cannot be shut off. 11. Malfunctioning door or window locks. Do you have a dog park? Yes. Our dog park is located behind the parking deck of the Overlook building. Please enjoy!
