ENTRIES DEFINED! ALL PRICES INCLUDE A $200 REFUNDABLE SIGN DEPOSIT PER ENTRY IMPORTANT NOTE FOR CUSTOM BUILDERS! If you re including the lot in the price of the home, then enter it as Single Family. If you re not including the lot, then you will need to enter it as a Custom Home - Excluding Lot. SINGLE FAMILY AND MULTI-FAMILY ENTRY Price for judging must be AS SHOWN with LOT CUSTOM HOME ENTRY (ON YOUR LOT) Price for judging must only be for the home AS SHOWN including all upgrades, pools, hardscapes and amenities do not include cost of lot. COMMUNITY ENTRY (Golf Course or Non-Golf Course Community) The judges for community entries will look at entry design, landscaping, signage, fountains, streetscapes, and amenities including pool, tennis, golf, clubhouse, playgrounds, nature trails, and sales center, etc. If a Developer enters as a Community Entry, and if there are multiple Builders in that community, then all the Builders must also enter. CUSTOM - OCCUPIED ENTRY Custom Home Occupied entries may be permitted into the Parade, however, the following guidelines must be met: Proof of Certificate of Occupancy date on or after February 28, 2018 must be submitted with entry form. Homeowner and Builder must submit a written agreement acknowledging the entry home will be open to the public at least during the first weekend (March 30 - April 1) of the Parade, Saturday 10:00am 5:00pm and Sunday Noon 5:00pm. The Homeowner and Builder are responsible for any issues that may arise. It is strongly recommended that the builder engage with their HBA ambassador to preview the home prior to the Parade of Homes, and consider their advice/tips on how to prepare the home. The entry is subject to approval from the HBA. The homeowners contact information and approval must be provided to HBA Staff when the entry is submitted. 6

ENTRIES DEFINED! (p2) ALL PRICES INCLUDE A $200 REFUNDABLE SIGN DEPOSIT PER ENTRY REMODEL ENTRY Remodel Entries are given the same marketing opportunities, appearance in the guidebook, online exposure, etc., however, they will NOT be judged. Two photos are required both a before and after image. Remodel Entry must be open to the public at least during the first weekend (March 30, 31) of the Parade from 10:00 am 5:00 pm on Saturday and Noon 5:00 pm on Sunday. With advanced notice to the HBA (by December 7th), entry may choose to be open for all 10 days or first weekend only. VIRTUAL ENTRY A Virtual Entry is an entry that cannot be visited because it does not physically exist. These entries get the same marketing exposure as a NEW HOME entry, but they are not judged and there is no home or address to send consumers to see. Submit a rendering or photo and/or a floor plan of a virtual home, remodel or community. Call to action for consumer is directing them to your website, phone or to visit your sales center. 7

PARADE HOURS (MOST ENTRIES) Monday thru Saturday: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Sundays: Noon 5:00 pm PARADE HOURS REMODEL AND CUSTOM - OWNER OCCUPIED ENTRIES Must be open at least first weekend (remainder of the Parade, optional) Monday thru Saturday: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Sundays: Noon 5:00 pm PARADE BANQUET As entrants, your presence at the banquet is very important to show pride and teamwork throughout the building industry family. If you cannot personally attend, it is vital that you send representative(s) to accept your award and represent your company. Entrants receiving comp tickets who choose not to attend without notifying the HBA will be billed the normal banquet fee for each unused ticket. Your complimentary Awards Banquet ticket is for open seating; if you want your team to sit together, you are welcome to purchase a corporate table, which are signed with your company name and are arranged in the front section of the room. The other option is to enter the banquet room as soon as the doors open for the dinner. Virtual / remodel entries receive one (1) open seating ticket per entry, and Single Family / Custom / Community Entries receive two (2) open-seating tickets per entry. DEADLINES & PAYMENT ENTRY DEADLINES All entry materials are due no later than 4:00 pm, Thursday, January 10, 2019. Prices and Square Footage (SF) may NOT be changed after this date. PAYMENT All entry fees are due at time of submission. Entries will not be published in guidebook without full payment. Entry fees are not refundable. To receive the member rate, members must have an active membership through April 7, 2019; the Dream Builder or Community must remain in good standing through September 1, 2019. If any entry is not renewed for the appropriate time, an additional $600 will be owed for each entry, including Dream Entry. 10

IMPORTANT INFORMATION (2) PARADE AMBASSADOR An experienced ambassador will be assigned to each builder entry to help keep you apprised of upcoming events, deadlines and offer suggestions to help you prepare your entry for judging, Realtor Days and the actual Parade of Homes. BUILDERS BREAKFAST All Entrants are required to attend, or send a representative, the Builders Breakfast on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 8:30 am. During this breakfast, the Parade of Homes team will update you with necessary final information regarding judging and updates for the POH. You will also receive your large display entry sign and directional signage and guidebooks (if available) to display at your home entries during the Parade. Please bring a vehicle large enough to carry a large sign. JUDGING Judging will be on Friday, March 22, 2019. All entries must be open by 9:00 am and ready for judging. Please ensure that your home(s) / community are unlocked and available for the judging team. Judging sheets are available by request. Unfinished homes will not be judged. Any entries in gated communities need to ensure Gate Attendants have been made aware of the event. GUIDEBOOK Each entry will receive a half-page listing in the Parade of Homes Official Guidebook. Each entry will include a color rendering/photo, name of model/community, floorplan, square footage, home address, directions to the home, description/highlights/features in a bulleted format, prices, logo, phone number, web site address and license number. You will be emailed a Word document to complete for each entry; Save the completed WORD document as a.docx file (or a.doc) file and return it to Admin@LakeSumterHBA.com Each entry will receive one chance to proof their guidebook listing. All copy is subject to editing for space and style requirements. The HBA of Lake-Sumter assumes no responsibility for errors or omissions upon publication. PARADE OF HOMES LOGO USAGE To further enhance the marketing of the Parade, entrants are encouraged to use the Official Parade of Homes Logos in all of their advertising (print, TV, billboard, website, social media, etc.) leading up to the Parade. We also encourage you to post the logo on your website and Facebook pages with a link to the official Parade of Homes website. The logos can be found on the HBA website, www.lakesumterhba.com. The 2019 Parade of Homes Logos are shown below. Also, when referring to the Parade of Homes, be sure to include the insignia. 11

IMPORTANT INFORMATION (3) SIGNAGE Parade signs for each entry will be provided by the HBA of Lake-Sumter. To protect the Parade of Homes branding and to prevent confusing the public, these are the only signs that may be used. Signs must be put up and taken down in accordance with municipal and county ordinances immediately before and as soon as the POH ends. A deposit of $200 is required for each entry sign and will be refunded if sign is returned within two weeks of the conclusion of the Parade. Directional arrow signs will also be supplied, and even though they are not required to be returned, HBALS appreciates the return of these signs for reuse to save expenses each year. LIABILITY The HBA will not be liable for any loss or damage to homes, property or persons for any reason whatsoever that may arise from the participation in the 2019 Parade of Homes. The Builder agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the HBA of Lake~Sumter and its officers, directors, executive officer and staff. The Builder, furthermore, indemnifies and holds harmless the HBA of Lake~Sumter from any and all claims of third parties, including but not limited to, copyright infringement or conversion, which may be asserted as a result of the inclusion of the house in the Parade or the inclusion of drawing or floor plans in the Parade guidebook or other advertising. DISPUTE In the event that this agreement becomes subject to dispute between the parties, both parties agree to settlement by arbitration. 12

If Membership does not remain in good standing, any links, images, future promotions and references to the Builder will be removed from the website and the builder/community will not be entitled to future promotion. In addition, the entry will be assessed the $600 non-member difference. INITIAL LIABILITY AGREEMENT I understand the HBA will not be liable for any loss or damage to homes, property or persons for any reason whatsoever that may arise from the participation in the 2018 Parade of Homes. The Builder agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the HBA of Lake~Sumter and its officers, directors, executive officer and staff. The Builder, furthermore, indemnifies and holds harmless the HBA of Lake~Sumter from any and all claims of third parties, including but not limited to, copyright infringement or conversion, which may be asserted as a result of the inclusion of the house in the Parade or the inclusion of drawing or floor plans in the Parade guidebook or other advertising. 14
