CASALE VITTORIA Monticchiello di Pienza Siena SLEEPS: 14 BEDROOMS: 7 BATHROOMS: 7 + 2 toilets DESCRIPTION By transforming the original structure in a valuable farmhouse, the primary aim of the owners was to respect the prerogatives of the old Tuscan farmhouses: beams in oak and cypress on the ceilings bright and spacious rooms, terracotta-tiled floors, locally made traditional furniture of wood and of course a wide and particularly view on the Valley, on the wheat fields, olive groves and rows of cypress trees. The property is not isolated although it has excellent privacy. A gate with electronic card closes the property that does not have a full enclosure. The farmhouse develops in two floors, it has a big patio in front of the entrance endowed with table and chairs. The two floors are connected by an external staircase typical in Tuscany's country cottages. The pool is located in the park surrounding the farmhouse and has a corner with tub. In a small house by the pool, there is a wood stove for cooking pizzas, a barbecue and a table for group dinners with at least 18 seats. A laundry room is at guests disposal with washing machine, iron and ironing board. The entrance is in a room of 80 sqm divided by brick arches, that create the idea of different rooms. This room has fine and antique furniture. Five steps brings you to the kitchen for a real chef and you can walk to the dining room with two patio doors that overlook the front courtyard and the rear garden. A beautiful stone fireplace is located in a smaller living room, furnished with comfortable red vermilion sofas spreading a very welcoming atmosphere. On the ground floor there are 5 bedrooms with inner bathroom (2 with bath and 3 with shower) and a toilet. The upper floor is reached by an outside staircase of 14 steps, which opens into a hall of 150 meters with a very big window arch that gives a very fascinating view of Pienza. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms with inner bathroom (one with jacuzzi and shower) and a toilet. The farmhouse is 5 km far from Monticchiello, really nice village in Val d'orcia. Pienza is 10 km far and it's the nearest town to find all shops. The farmhouse is 50 km from Siena and Montepulciano, 70 km from Assisi and 130 km from Florence.
