Philosophy The practice has been established for 35 years and has created and managed a variety of intelligent design programs for a diverse range of clients. Sadgrove Design places a high value on taking time to research and analyse problems. The practice follows a controlled review of existing design work to extract value and preserve worthy elements, while new directions are defined. Unnecessary details are pared away leaving core communication elements. Once this level of knowledge is established clarity and simplicity follow through the execution. By pursuing this philosophy work is thorough and timeless. For example, work that Sadgrove Design created ten or twenty years ago still holds relevancy. Sadgrove Design develops intimate working relationships with clients to understand their issues. This allows the creation of responsible, well considered design that is relevant and not a victim of fashion. Process Sadgrove Design operates a staged development process combining analysis, strategy, design and implementation that can be tailored to suit projects of varying size and complexity. Crucial to the process is client involvement. Clients are encouraged to take early ownership of programs. The practice focuses on a collaborative approach, where ideas are refined over time, not presented as surprise final results. This leads to a more comprehensive understanding at the time of hand over. Delivering practical, cost effective solutions on budget and on time is a fact supported by the lasting client relationships that have been built. Sadgrove Design is also experienced in working with related disciplines such as public relations, advertising and marketing. Our process is usually driven in four stages: Stage One Analysis Stage Two Strategic development Stage Three Design development Stage Four Implementation
