E. Boyce seconded by Rt. Hon. F. J. Stuart. PAPERS Hon. J. D. E. Boyce by command laid the following: 1. Duties, Taxes and Payments (Exemption) (Eden Holdings Inc.). 2. Duties, Taxes and Payments (Exemption) (Barbados Rally Club) Order, 2016. ORDERS OF THE DAY SUSPENSION OF STANDING ORDERS On the motion of Hon. J. D. E. Boyce seconded by Rt. Hon. F. J. Stuart Standing Orders 6, 16, 18, 20, 42(5), 43 and 44 were suspended for the remainder of the Sitting. GOVERNMENT BUSINESS On the motion of Hon. J. D. E. Boyce seconded by Rt. Hon. F. J. Stuart the House resolved itself into Committee of Supply, Mr. J. D. Paul in the Chair. ORDER NO. 26 SUPPLEMENTARY ESTIMATES 2016-2017 No. 4 MINISTRY OF HEALTH: $3,155,344 Hon. J. D. E. Boyce spoke on the following Resolution: RESOLVED that the sum of THREE MILLION, ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY-FIVE THOUSAND, THREE HUNDRED AND FORTY-FOUR DOLLARS be granted from the Consolidated Fund and be placed at the disposal of the Government to supplement the Estimates 2016-2017 as shown in the Supplementary Estimates No. 4, 2016-2017 which form the Schedule to this Resolution.

Boyce gave notice of the following: A Resolution to grant the sum of $10 363 838 from the Consolidated Fund and to place it at the disposal of the Government to supplement the Estimates 2016-2017 as shown in the Supplementary Estimates No. 5, 2016-2017 which form the Schedule to the Resolution. A Resolution to approve in accordance with section 5 of the Crown Lands (Vesting and Disposal) Act, Cap. 225, the sale to the Barbados National Terminal Company Limited of the parcel of land, the property of the Crown, situate at Coverley in the parish of Christ Church.

Hon. F. J. Stuart, the Resolutions were read a first and second time and agreed to.

ORDER NO. 19 RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE PUBLIC SERVICE (GENERAL) ORDER, 2016 Rt. Hon. F. J. Stuart spoke on the following Resolution: 6 RESOLVED that the Public Service (General) Order, 2016 made by the Minister responsible for the Civil Service on the 21st day of October, 2016 under sections 13(1) and 14(3) of the Public Service Act, Cap. 29 be approved. RESOLVED that His Excellency the Governor-General be asked to assent and take the necessary steps given to effect this Resolution. and moved seconded by Dr. the Hon. D. C. Estwick that the Resolution be passed. Mr. D. G. Sutherland spoke. Rt. Hon. F. J. Stuart spoke in reply. ORDER NO. 28 RESOLUTION TO APPROVE SALE OF LAND AT COVERLEY, CHRIST CHURCH BY THE CROWN TO BARBADOS NATIONAL TERMINAL COMPANY LIMITED Hon. D. St. E. Kellman spoke on the following Resolution: RESOLVED that Parliament in accordance with section 5 of the Crown Lands (Vesting and Disposal) Act, Cap. 225, approve the sale to the Barbados National Terminal Company Limited of the parcel of land, the property of the Crown, situate at Coverley in the parish of Christ Church in this Island and more particularly described in the Schedule hereto. SCHEDULE ALL THAT land the property of the Crown situate at Coverley in the parish of Christ Church in this Island containing by admeasurement 14.207 hectares (inclusive of 0.101 hectares of road reserve) or thereabouts Abutting and Bounding on lands now or formerly of the Barbados Agricultural Development Management Corporation (Fairy Valley Plantation), on a public road known as Highway 7 leading to Grantley Adams International Airport in one direction, on lands now or formerly of the Barbados Government and on a public road to Industrial Estate in one direction or however else the same may abut and bound as shown and delineated on a plan certified on the 16th day of February, 2004 by W. A. G. Scott, Land Surveyor and recorded in the Lands and Surveys Department on the 24th day of September, 2004 as Plan No. 977 of 2004. and moved seconded by Hon. R. L. Sealy that the Resolution be passed.

7 ADJOURNMENT On the motion of Hon. J. D. E. Boyce seconded by Dr. the Hon. D. C.
