Page7 Quality Control At, our quality control is managed as an on-going process where everyone is responsible to contribute ideas on the firm s ultimate commitment in improving and maintaining client satisfaction. No one enjoys wasting money on poor value. With team-building and creativity, Thomas McInerney encourages participation from each team member. Quality is a journey and not a destination. When beginning a project, we tenaciously identify clear objectives, team aspirations and role assignments. By acknowledging key attributes of the project (budget limitations, site characteristics, scheduling of deadlines and client expectations throughout the project), we plan schedule contingencies for reworking specifications and drawings where needed. Quality management is one ever-iterating process where continuous improvement is the foremost objective. We measure and review during the process the status of the following: Variances from project time and cost budgets Response time within the project team and firm Team coordination and review time Contractor Requests for Information Change Orders and the reasons for them By using automated schedules and smart objects (with AutoCAD Architecture 2010), coordinated construction is characteristic from project to project. It gives us quantities for estimating and quick assessment in materials selection. With effective quality control, provides clear, concise, correct and complete construction documents. This is essential element in providing sound estimates, effective communication and timely procurement of construction materials.
