STANISLAS STROZYNSKI. A poet has said, 'The crowning glory of a woman is her hair," and truly she has no more precious possession. The care of the hair is, or should be, one of her first considerations, as on this depends much of her beauty, and, that "those who run may read," we wish to refer, in this connection, to our leading ladies' prize hairdresser, Stanislas Strozynski, at 24 Geary street. This gentleman established here in 1872, and has attained much more than local fame for his superior skill and excellent goods. He has connected with his establishment a number of private parlors for restoring grey and bleached hair to its natural color, hairdressing, shampooing, singeing, itimming, etc., all of which is done by the most modern processes. Twelve skilled assistants are employed, who also go to the residences of patrons, and make a specialty of hair-dressing and veil-adjusting for weddings, balls, receptions, etc. Switches, wigs, toupees, etc., are made to order, a large stock of fine imported human hair of all shades being carried in stock, as well as preparations for the hair and complexion, and Parisian novelties of all kinds. Mr. Strozynski was the recipient of the "MedaiUe d'or," at the Paris expositions of 1886 and 1889. He is considered one of the most expert exponents of his profession in the world. Born in France, Stanislas Strozynski came to San Francisco twenty-seven years ago, and his ability at once won him patronage and renown.
