Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance led at the NALMLS O&D Meeting. MOTION: To approve the HAAR Consent Agenda Motion Carried. TREASURERS REPORT Secretary/Treasurer Larry Carroll presented the July 2014 Financials. 3

Adjustment: The bank fees for July 2013 were $3,295 and for July 2014 2012 were $4,265. Financial Statements to be filed for audit. Secretary/Treasurer Larry Carroll presented Motions from the Finance and Budget Committee: Motion: To approve the HAAR Travel Policy Amendment: To state in the Chief Executive Officer/Executive Vice President section that One half of these expenses are to be paid by NALMLS and one half by HAAR. Amendment Passed. Amendment: To add registration fee and one night hotel fee for Directors, to the NAR Winter Conference. Amendment failed. Adjustment: To change verbiage under the National Directors Representing HAAR at NAR meetings and HAAR REALTORS Members Receiving AAR or NAR awards, so that the expenses covered are clearly stated. Motion as Amended Passed. Motion: To approve the 2015 HAAR Proposed Budget Adjustment: To change the verbiage on income line item 1539 and to correspond to expense line item 1843 Motion: To approve the 2015 HAAR Capital Requests 4

PRESIDENTS REMARKS Motion: To ratify motion made at the August 23 rd O&D Meeting. COMMITTEE REPORTS Nominating Committee Chair Bill Ward stated that Jim Hoekenschnieder was nominated by committee as 2015 Treasure/Secretary. Next the committee will week for Director open nominations. Governmental Affairs Committee Co Chair Ginny Brandau presented two motions: Motion: To endorse Debra Kizer for Madison County License Director and to contribute $3000 to her campaign. Motion: To endorse Blake Dorning for Madison County Sherriff and to contribute $3500 to his campaign. ARPAC Chair Sha Jarboe thanked everyone who attended the Beauty and the Beach ARPAC event. The committee is currently working to finalize the numbers and should be reported at the next membership luncheon. Although, the deadline for this year s ARPAC contribution is in October there will be fall social in upcoming months. Affiliate Director Nickie Allison Lash announced the next Lunch and Learn for Realtors will be October 21 st starting at 11 am. The lunch will be held at HAAR and will be sponsored by Peppers Moving Company. Please RSVP to attend. CRS President Kathy Mann mentioned there is still time to sign up for the CRS 201: Listings Class. The class will be held September 24 25 at HAAR from 8:30 am to 5 pm. Carrie Turner for WCR President Carrie Burk announced WCR s annual tailgate party will be Wednesday, October 8 th from 11:30am to 1 pm. Mayor Tommy Battle will speak about recent updates and city news. President Bill Stewart made a motion: to excuse the absences of Darrin Hasley and Jim Johnson, both have medical excuses. Meeting moved to Executive Session. Motion: To approve Ginny Brandau as Chair of the Governmental Affairs committee. Motion: To allow Jim Hoekenschnieder finish Steven Lamar s 2014 year as a Director.
