FINAL PLAT REQUIREMENTS NAME OF PROJECT: DATE: The City of Palmetto development regulations requires the following minimum information Applications will not be processed unless all required information is submitted. Any item believed " not applicable" must be explained in writing and submitted with the application in one ( 1) copy. This form is to be prepared by the Project Engineer. Note: Applicant must check ( v) and give page number on which information is provided. SEC. 26-15. FINAL PLAT APPLICATION. Page # ( Applicant) ( Staff) 1) Basic information a) Include five sets, sheet size maximum according to Manatee County Land Development Code ( Refer to Chapter 9, Section 907. 15. 1 for dimensions - currently established at eighteen [ 18] by twenty four [ 24] inches) numbered i. e., sheet of ). with the material requirements of Chapter 177 of the Florida Statutes. The size of each sheet shall not be larger than eighteen ( 18) inches by twenty-four ( 24) inches which shall include a ( 1/ 2) one half-inch margin on each of three ( 3) sides, and a three- inch margin on the left side for binding purposes. In all cases, the requirements of Chapter 9 of the Manatee County Land Development Code and Chapter 177 of the Florida Statutes shall govern. 3) Required genera/ information. a) Name of subdivision shall be shown on the plat and also on the dedication where it shall coincide exactly with the subdivision' s name. () ( ) b) Location. i. Section, township, and range in which the subdivision is located. () ( ) ii. iii. The name of the city, county, and state in which the land is located. () ( ) Legal description, which shall be exactly the same as in the title certification. () ( ) iv. Enclose a copy of the Title Commitment. () ( ) V. All section lines and quarter section lines within the plat shall be shown. Also, the Point of Commencement in the description shall be tied to the nearest governmental corner or other established corner. () ( ) c) Name and address of property owner and surveyor. ( ) ( ) d) All adjacent property shall be identified by subdivision title, plat book and page, or if un -platted, the property shall be so designated. () ( ) e) Date Permanent Control Points and all Lot Corners are to be installed. f) Permanent Reference Monuments. () ( ) g) Documents containing restrictive covenants, if applicable. ( Note: Deed restrictions are neither reviewed nor enforced by the city. Therefore, the proposed restrictive covenants do not include deed restrictions. () ( ) 4) Subdivision design. a) Numeric designation, location and width of all street rights-of-way. () ( ) b) Location, width and intended use of all easements. () ( ) c) Lot and block numbers. () ( ) g) The organization name, address, phone number, fax number, license number, and preparer name shall be included in the Preparer Block to be located in the lower right hand corner of each map. () ( ) h) Plat book, page number, and sheet number block shall be located in the upper right hand corner of each map sheet () ( ) i) Each lot and project boundary are to have closure sheets prepared and submitted by the project surveyor. () ( ) 5) Certifications. a) Certificate of ownership and dedication ( Corporate or Private). i. The owner(s) of the property shall state that they dedicate all rights- of-way unless all is private), public areas, utilities and easements to the public. In addition, all mortgagees shall execute the dedication contained on the plat or a separate document (joinder letter) joining in and ratifying the plat and all dedications and reservations.
