Instructions for the apartment Le Sorbier" no. 222 The apartment is at your disposal from 4pm on the day of arrival. You should leave the apartment by 10am on the day of your departure. Arrival Before reaching Moutiers, you take the exit Les Menuires/Val Thorens on the highway and drive up the hill. You pass Les Menuires" and the noticeable church on the right hand side. You continue driving up the hill towards Reberty and turn right about 200 meters behind Les Menuires, where you reach a big parking area in Les Bouquetins. Drive to the end of that area.
On the left hand side, you will than see an underground parking spot. If you want, you can rent a underground parking lot in the building on the opposite side. To unload your luggage, you can park for a limited time nearby the roundabout. Afterwards, you can park on any parking lot there for free.
Starting at the barrier, you need to walk about 100 meters to get to the entrance of the building Le Sorbier (on the right hand side; last building in front of the bridge).
Inside of the building, theres an elevator, which takes you to the first floor. On that floor, next to the elevator, you will see the door to the apartment no. 222.
Inside Right behind the entrance, there s a fuse box. Please note the counter meter from the electric meter. In the toilet room there s a water meter at the back wall. Please note that counter meter as well. We need the initial state and the end state of both meters for the calculation of the consumption costs. Turn on the power supply by turning the orange rotary switch. Please check, if the fridge is turned on. Also check if everything else is fine, or of there are any grievances, like dirt, trash, defects, etc
There are some blankets in the shelf in the sleeping room and some others in the drawers of the big sofabed in the living room. If it s cold outside and if you would like to use the sofabed on the balcony, you should hang up the blue blanket in front of the window for a better isolation. Please unhang the blanket in the morning, so the window can dry off again and it is not infested by mould.
On the wall cupboard, there is a replacement key for the apartment door, the basement and the ski locker. If it s getting too cold inside, you can turn on the additional electric heating. There is also a fan heater, if you need one. You find the skilocker in the basement (floor -1). When you get off the elevator, you turn right, where you then get to the ski locker room. There is a corresponding locker with the number 222, for which you have a fitting key. The locker room leads directly to the ski slopes.
Ski pass On the opposite side of the slopes in front of the house, you can buy a ski pass for either a smaller part of the three valleys or the whole ski area, which is really big, but perfect for intermediates and pros. We recommend the insurance, which can be included into the ticket. If you have any accident on the slopes or if you get ill, all the costs are being repaid to you and you also can get back the ticket price. Shopping Also on the opposite side of the slopes (walk through the bridge), you can find a grocery store (sherpa; about 200 meters from the cinema) a bakery (on the opposite side of the cinema) and some other stores for your convenience. You can find a lot more shops in La Croisette, the shopping mall located in Les Menuires. You can reach it in a 10 minute walk (exit our house and turn left). Miscellaneous You can dispose some of your waste on the first floor in the room called Local ordures. Please separate your waste and dispose it outside of the building near the underground parking area. Instructions are printed inside of the elevator. On leaving the apartment, please close all of the windows and lock the door. Please pull the curtain on the balcony closed, so the sun doesn't bleach the furniture and turn down the electric heater. If any glasses or dishes get broken, please notify us, so we can replace them in time. Please also report any damages regarding the apartment or the household goods. If possible, fix small damages (like broken bulbs) yourself and send us the receipt. Access from the slopes. Date of departure - Empty the humidifier, in case you used it. - Vacuum clean the floor. A vacuum cleaner is located in the cupboard near the entrance door. - Wash your dishes and tidy up. - Fold the blankets and put them back to their storage place. - Close all of the windows.
- Keep the fridge opened. - Please don t leave open leftovers of food or drink. Leave the apartment, like you would like to come upon one. - Hang up the replacement key on the cupboard over the kitchen table. - Please note the electric meter count as well as the water meter count and turn off the main power supply. - Please send us the meter readings afterwards by email. - Close the first door inside the apartment, as well as the entrance door.
