Description The interior and exterior parts are sourced from a huge range of different woods and materials. The log houses are bespoke, hand scribed log building. The timber used is 150 yr old Siberian Spruce, sourced by A Koks of Latvia. A Koks produce extremely impressive developments specialising in extremely large houses and commercial buildings. There is a huge range of woods that have been used to build the log houses, some from Scotland and others from around the world and used where they benefit the property the most. The larch and Douglas Fir are from Inzievar wood, Oakley, Fife. The oak and Scots pine was sourced from Callander Estates at Falkirk. The window sills in the large log house are made from Ekki, an African hardwood that is often used to make bog mats as it does not rot, not even underwater. There are pitch pine sourced from Blackpool s Big Dipper, American Heartwood, Eucalyptus Grandis, Orogo and numerous other wood types. There are stain glass windows, cathedral windows and large French doors. The roods are finished in Norwegian Slate. Local red granite are used chips for the road.
