5084 Santa Susana Place Santa Barbara, CA 93111 March 16, 2018 SUBJECT: Munoz Residence Second Story Addition 16BAR-00000-00198 Until now, each successive iteration of this project has been a definite improvement over the previous one. The designer had made a good effort to orient second story windows to protect our privacy. The proposal before you today is a step backwards, as it adds a second window on the west wall at the south end of Bedroom 2. This window is highly objectionable because it will look directly into our back yard. The minutes of the Board s meetings of September 1, 2017 and January 5, 2018 both ask for a landscaping plan for screening neighbors. This has not yet been done. We urge that the project not be approved until these issues have been satisfactorily addressed. Joseph W. Olson Mirella Z. Olson
