Since 2001, the Friends of the American Cancer Society have held the Party with a Purpose, a party held annually at a unique venue. Cocktails, hors d oeuvres, and dinner are served to over 500 guests who enjoy live music and take part in silent and live auctions, raffles, and more. Over $3 million has been raised for the fight against cancer through this unique event. It was established in 1948 as the Hylda Cohn/Kain Moses Group and currently has over 60 active committee members.
