Location Sticklepath is situated on the northern edge of Dartmoor National Park, just to the east of Okehampton. In the village there are pubs, stores, church and a primary school at nearby South Tawton. Okehampton possesses a full range of local amenities, including secondary education, leisure centre, hospital and a Waitrose store. There are private schools in the area at Mount Kelly at Tavistock, or a selection in the university and cathedral city of Exeter. Directions From Exeter and the M5 motorway follow the A30 dual carriageway towards Okehampton. Turn off at Whiddon Down and proceed through the village. Continue through the village passing Finch Foundry and the Devonshire Inn and then turn right immediately after the village hall on the right.
